Stayed Nov 13, 2025Our trip to Key West aboard the Thirsty Lady was unforgettable. I traveled with my daughter and her boyfriend, and the three of us had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful sailboat. Captain Pat and his son PJ were fantastic hosts — friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful with local recommendations for food and things to do.On our first day, we enjoyed a peaceful sunset cruise before spending the night on the boat and taking in the Key West nightlife. The next morning, we headed out for a day sail to the reef, where we snorkeled in clear water and soaked up perfect sunny weather — warm but never too hot. Later that evening, we moved to a marina in downtown Key West, had a great dinner, and stayed on board again. The final day took us on another relaxing sail back to the original marina.Everything about the experience was excellent — the sailing, the snorkeling, the atmosphere, and especially the hospitality. We had an amazing time and will definitely be booking this adventure again.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025This was an amazing trip, as first timers in the Florida Keys, Captain Pat was incredibly patient and gave us the insider scoop on places to go and things to try. We had the most amazing sailing days with snorkeling. Both marinas were lovely - if you are reading this review to try and see if you should book the trip - DO IT! An amazing host, lovely sailboat, and the perfect experience!

Stayed Dec 19, 2024My family and I had a wonderful stay and adventure on the Thirsty Lady. Pat, PJ, Stephanie, and Pat's wife were accommodating and bent over backward to ensure everything was perfect. They even went to the airport to pick us up and dropped us off at our hotel after our stay with them. They took us snorkeling and sailing for a day, and we stayed at two exceptional marinas with all the perks of a resort. The fun part was getting to know Pat and his son PJ while listening to their awesome life and sea stories. Pat also provided lots of good restaurants and sightseeing recommendations! I highly recommend booking with them and having a fantastic trip like we did. We will be back one day.

Stayed Nov 14, 2024My wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay on the Thirsty Lady. Capt Pat and his son PJ are great. They are very friendly and we felt as if we were part of their family. Capt Pat has extensive knowledge of Key West including bars and restaurants. If you are the type of person who seeks out authentic experiences and likes the idea of living on a boat, you will like his recommendations. Life on the boat is a bit cramped, but comfy. There is a fridge, sink, and a cook stove (that we never used). The bathrooms are small and really just for essential use. The main Marina has very nice private bathrooms and showers. There is not much nearby the Marina, but there is an hourly shuttle to the downtown area, or you can catch a ubiquitous Uber The Marina for the second night is downtown. The amenities are not as nice, but the location is spectacular. You can watch the sunset from your boat and crash back into the boat after a late night of Duval street shenanigans. Through no fault of theirs, we had a somewhat abbreviated sailing experience. Waves and wind made the snorkeling a bit of a challenge. The reef was very nice for an open water snorkel. Our third day was very windy and one of the stays snapped, cutting short our sail. Capt Pat offered to drive us around Key West and was extremely gracious Throughout the trip Capt Pat and his family did everything to make sure we had a great stay. They are outstanding hosts!

Stayed Apr 11, 2024Great way to meet some real boat captains and see the best of key west. Stay away from the tourist traps and book this stay with captain Pat and PJ. Staff was attentive and accommodating to all of our requests. Felt like I was sailing and snorkeling with some old friends. Super chil. Great way to get away. Don’t keep looking just book it.

Stayed Apr 3, 2023Such an amazing trip! Excellent communication from booking all the way to boarding the boat. Captain Pat gave us recommendations for stops on our drive down through the Keys. Then he met us at the gate and showed us around the property before our sunset cruise. The boat was stocked with drinks for our trip. It comfortably slept 2 adults and 4 kids aged 10-17. We had two different day cruises to separate snorkeling locations. Our kids are all strong swimmers and had no problems with the open water snorkeling. It was great that Captain Pat and PJ let our family get in on the action while sailing. Our second night at Opal Key was steps away from Mallory Square and fantastic restaurants & bars. Captain Pat also gave us a variety of must visit places to check out. For breakfast, we highly recommend Two Friends while docked at Opal Key and a quick drive to either DeLuna's or El Mocho while docked at Oceanside Marina. We highly recommend booking this trip!!
