40 ft Catamaran Boatel w view in Ventura Harbor, Sleeps 6

We had a wonderful stay on Vela! The boat was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. We loved watching the boats and wild life in the harbor and had so much fun taking the dinghy out to explore more.The boat had everything we needed to make a few meals. The marina bathrooms were convenient, large, and clean. We would absolutely stay again when we are back to Ventura.

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of space for two adults and hosting guests. The view and privacy were great and we had a whole new experience of Ventura. Hosts were on top of communications and responsive throughout. Access to the dingy was perfect for exploring the harbor and going over to the shops to eat. Ultimately, we enjoyed how peaceful the whole experience turned out. It’s a gem.

This was the perfect little getaway that we were looking for. The catamaran was docked in a quieter part of the harbor, which allowed us to enjoy the local wildlife and atmosphere. The owners were very helpful, welcoming, and professional. They reached out multiple times before our trip, making the whole process easy. The boat had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back and would recommend this to our friends and family.

We LOVED our weekend stay on this beautiful catamaran! Beautifully decorated and stocked for all of our needs - multiple large spaces to enjoy and particularly loved the large outdoor table with incredible water, sunset, lights views! We also enjoyed taking the dingy out to explore the houses on the water! Highly recommend!!!

Communication with the owners was seamless, both before and during our stay.The boat was exceptionally clean. The beds very comfortable, with great linens. The bathrooms were quite functional, once we got the hang of it. We used the shower several times. The kitchen was well set up. The decks were clean, the seating was ample and well thought out. The bean bag chairs and fold out deck chairs were a BIG hit. We really enjoyed being able to open up everything during the day and close it up in the evening, when the chill set in. The space heater did a great job of heating up the living area. We really enjoyed the dinghy, paddle board and kayak. Great toys to have around. There were 5 adults on board, and we never felt squeezed for room, which is amazing. It is a wonderful boat, in a great location at the end of the dock, with plenty of good restaurants and coffee houses nearby.We had a wonderful time, and we are already talking about doing it again.Much more fun than a condo. Five stars all around.

We had a fastastic today trip. Coolers were very very cold. Got to lay out Monday in the sun because the wind blew the rest of the time. Beds were so comfy and the neighbors were fun to converse with. Be back soon

We absolutely loved our time on the Vela. Our family of six stayed here for two nights and loved the adventure. We used the included kayak, SUP and motorized dinghy to explore Ventura marina. The lazy mornings, warm afternoons and beautiful sunsets were exactly what we needed. We've always loved marinas and the beach, so we didn't want to pass up the opportunity to stay on this incredible boat. Three rooms, two bathrooms and a spacious kitchen/dining room/deck gave us plenty of room with six of us... three teens, a pre-teen and two parents... had a great time. I highly recommend this boatel and we would certainly do this again. The amenities on the boat are great and there is even extra showers and restrooms available directly on-shore from the dock, if needed. Ventura marina and the surrounding area is full of great restaurants, beaches and places to explore. The owner of the Vela met us personally to show us how to use all of the boating facilities (different than your home) and made sure we were comfortable. This is excellent accommodations, more like a luxury suite than any common hotel room. Fun, relaxing and wonderful. Thank you.

Boat had all amenities. Enjoyed quiet nights and getting rocked to sleep. Dinghy was a bonus. Kids enjoyed going around the marina and harbor village.

My son and I were in Ventura for a family reunion. We live in Los Angeles but thought to make a mini vacation of it. Beautiful boat, great amenities and comfy beds. We didn’t have time to use the dingy, but will come back next year to do so. I’ve never stayed on a boat and this was an amazing experience that we will do again.
