Affordable, quick responses to questions, clean, all the necessities, close to beautiful trails, perfect little spot.

While it is small, it was clean and the kitchenette had actual glasses and silverware, etc & having plastic glassware and utensils is a huge pet peeve of mine.

It was convenient to a meeting place for our group. Aside from traffic, it was a quiet place to sleep. Facilities were modern and clean. I would stay here again.

This was my 4th year staying here and will be doing it again next year. It is close to the start of a trail race that I do and it is great coming back for a hot shower and to sleep in a comfortable bed. It has everything I needed and I know that it will always be clean and inviting.

The stay and the Inn was fantastic. Clean, quiet, affordable, perfect location for our travels. Beds and pillows were comfortable, nice to have the small kitchen, owners provided a wonderful stay and experience at the Black Bear Inn. Having lived in the area for many years and visiting for the first time in years, my wife and I will definitely be back again and again.

This place has wonderful decor and very clean. Have stayed in the big family unit and the smaller unit and have loved them both.

The place was perfect for our stay. The cost of an inn with the feel of your own cabin. It was clean and nicely decorated. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do some hiking or just to get away for the weekend.

Everything was as expected, enjoyed our stay.

Host is amazing, clran, comfortable, modern and right near Manistee National Forest. This is totally our new place when visiting relatives in the area. Outdoor games, lawn chairs, nice eating area, well kept. Good show! One property note: Shower is very small only because of the type of property cabin this is. This and the toilet position at the wall makes life a bit rough for bigger people. Not recommended for 300lb+ or people with claustrophobia.

Nice place, clean and cute decor. Would stay again but in a lager room that had a regular kitchen as we like to cook instead of going out every night for dinner!
