Excellent accommodations. The space was very clean and well maintained. The hosts were very helpful and provided very detailed instructions on the location, how to check-in, and the parking. Was visiting for activities at the convention center and the location is very convenient.

The kitchen was so minimally stocked that we did not use it. It also did not have a dishwasher. If you are okay with lots of light and noise all night long, the place is fine. However, the master bedroom curtains look like slum lord curtains. They are mismatched, only 1/2 of one side has black out and the windows do not open. There are only curtain rods on half the side walls. The owners did the least amount possible to call this a VRBO and it shows.

Pretty much as advertised. Location in the entertainment district (Gaslamp). Did not need a car for this stay. Things to keep in mind. Fairly steep stairs to access. And being in the Gaslamp District did make the front bedroom in particular noisy. Then again, we were there New Year's Eve, and both a Friday and Saturday night. It was nice having a full kitchen, although it is a little small.

We had a great stay at the apartment. The location was ideal and we were able to walk everywhere from the convention center and restaurants etc. There is no elevator, so be cautious if you have a heavy suitcase/s. The apt was clean and cozy. The management was wonderful with communicating. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Nice apartment as expected with all amenities. Night time noise was an issue. You might have a plumber check the shower - tricky to get hot water and to turn off the shower. Need to find just the right point to avoid water dripping and leakage.

This charming spot was an excellent choice for a comfortable place to collapse after a Padres game! No rush for a jam-packed trolley, no wait for a ride, no competing with a crowd for a table. Definitely the right way to go! We will keep this place in mind for future visits!

We stayed a few blocks from the convention center. We were close to stores and restaurants. It was perfect, and so much cheaper than conference hotels. Instead of a hotel room, we had a full kitchen, living room, a dining table, etc. So much better.

The property is tucked away in the Gaslamp District but with great access to restaurants and the convention center. The owners were very accommodating and thorough with their check-in process and what to expect, which eased my mind.

Excellent location if you are going to the Convention Center or Petco Arena. Also excellent if you like to make your own coffee in the morning or have a full-size fridge for food at home. And perfect for someone who likes elements of quirky, off-beat, historical or not a cookie-cutter hotel experience. Decent value for the money, but more than an average 2 bed hotel room. Easy check in process and great host communication. Good bed in the front room (king) but doubles in other bedroom a little rickety and springy. Didn't test to pull out couches. Front bedroom is loud from the bars downstairs which start playing music at 8am and lasts all day, but the portable AC (no central AC but didn't need it) and noise machines helped. Not high-end finishes but everything was very clean, convenient and spacious. Restaurants, bars, a Ralph's and free nearby parking are great. Lots of unhoused people in the area, but never felt unsafe. Definitely a choice for the type of doesn't mind a bit of character!

I expect these stays to be of higher quality than hotels in the same price range. This unit was a real disappointment. It is located over a raucous bar that stays open until 3:00a. The unit is down at the heels, is painted baby blue, has peeling plaster, rusting windows, and no warmth or appeal. The beds are very soft, the bedding is threadbare. There are no outlets in the bathroom to plug a hair dryer into and no mirrors elsewhere in the unit. The bath products are bargain basement and the coffee is low quality. This is obviously a corporate-run rental without anyone looking after the details. We paid plenty to stay here. It was my worst rental experience, hands down.
