The cabins were newer and very clean but the common shower and restrooms were not well maintained. The cabins were right on the highway and you did hear trucks and trains all night long.

The cabin was cute, clean and little. However, the ad said private bathroom. No bathroom in the cabin. The bathroom is a shared (public) bathroom that is private but still public. To get to the bathroom it was a short walk up a small hill, but uncomfortable walking to it at night-time. Staff was nice. .

My kids and I stayed there and they had so much for us to do. Just building a fire by the river, alone, was so nice. And to sleep with the sound of the river running by and for it to be the first thing you see outside your door was wonderful. They had a basket ball court, a giant connect four game, movies at night time and also painting class, and great cookies at the front desk. The restrooms were no big deal to walk to and they were not crowded. The cabin is so cute and well equipped. It had more than I thought it would. And it was really comfortable to sleep. Beautiful place, and the staff were no nice at check in, too. An easy check out as well. We recommend this place for sure!

This little cabin was such a fun little weekend getaway for myself, my sister and our mom to celebrate our mom’s birthday! It is literally right on the water as described and makes for wonderful sunrise coffee mornings! It smelled very new and everything was set up perfectly. The laundry (blankets, sheets, pillows and towels) smelled wonderful so we felt comfortable to use them. The only thing that I didn’t pay attention to when booking was the bathroom/ shower situation. You’re technically camping here and the bathroom and shower is a little walk up towards the motel so don’t forget anything! The cabin felt pretty well insulated so while it still got a little cold just because it was in the 20s at night (to be expected) we stayed warm with the heater inside and blankets! I cannot wait to come back. Check in inside the main office was super easy.
