QUEEN ROOM IN LAKE GEORGE-1

Overall a good stay. First room they gave me key to was not ready- bed was stripped, table not cleaned, etc. So they gave me a double room which was nice. Older place, not fancy, but I like that.

Mixed review. The pro's were that the price was reasonable and they were flexible about little early check in and late check out. The con's were although the laminate wood floor was swept clean, it definitely needed to be washed. Every time we got into the shower, dirt flowed off of out feet...GROSS. Also no bathroom cup or tissues. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, which was either coming from the room next door or the front balcony. The TV remote had no batteries? And the room came with a table and two chairs, but no place to use them so close to the bed. Had to stack the chairs on the table to be able to get out of both sides of the bed. See photos. Also, shower temp would suddenly change hot or cold when we weren't using the sink, so it must have been affected by our neighbor. Probably should have paid a little more for a better place.

While this is not a luxurious accomodation, it is very well maintained, clean and pleasant. There is a fridge and a large screen TV and very comfortable beds. I took advantage of the seats out on the small patio to enjoy my morning coffee. And most importantly, it is very close to all the tourist action of the Lake George waterfront without being smack in the middle of it. We had a quiet nights' sleep.

It was very dirty!! The room had cigarette ashes on the bed and was very strong in cigarette smell!! It was booked as a non-smoking room. We could not get our monet back, we did leave and found a different hotel... this place was the worse place we have ever booked!! CONSUMERS BEWARE!!....I forgot to mention the over full trash cans on the property!!

The room was clean and had an iron, fridge, and an ac unit. The creek behind the building is pretty neat.

The location was very good for us.

Perfect for a night at Lake George. Walking distance from everything, nice pool and there was a cool waterfall behind our room which made a beautiful, relaxing sound.
