Unfortunately, humanity has repeatedly proven that in order to keep everyone safe, protect the home for future guests, respect our neighbors, and ensure we stay in compliance with our governmental overlords (Wisconsin State Lodging Code (ATCP 72), Bayfield County Short-Term Rental Ordinance, and the local fire/municipal codes), we are legally required to put the following in writing.

The property is nice smaller than I expected. Coffee pot didn’t work. There were little things you had to do before you left (like wash your dishes) to avoid a charge that surprised me. Management was very accommodating. Needed to change dates and it was easy to do. Overall, nice place for a few days.

Our room was quiet and near everything. The fact that it’s managed by a women owned company makes it even better! Will definitely come back!

Where do we begin?Check in was terrible. Luckily the neighbor tattoo lady told s where to find door code office. If we did not connect with her we would have needed to sleep in the car!Bed too high; toilet too low.Bath tub size overtook the bathroom; we didn’t need an indoor pool.Shower was primitive.Needless to say we will not recommend or attend a vrbo property if this was an indication.

We have stayed at the Guest House two times. The Ontario room is slightly larger than the Erie room. Both are cozy & adequate. An ice tray would be a nice addition to have in the room. Hosts are WONDERFUL. Thank you for a very nice stay, once again!

The shower floor feels spongy and the coffeemaker does not work. We will report these issues to the rental company also. Otherwise, it is a great location in a picturesque little town!

I can’t say enough about it. And in talking to all the other people throughout the week that have been staying there, I’m not wrong. You guys do a great job. I hope you see it was left in the condition that you expect from a guest.

Clean, good access to downtown Bayfield. The locks setup worked well. We could have used more flat space for luggage and belongings, but we got along OK.

We had a great night stay for our mini moon. This place was a short walk from downtown, great location. Felt safe & secure staying here. The bed was a little hard and the street gets noise early but they did provide ear plugs. The complimentary robes were the best part!

The room is okay but really small. The bed is a double but even at that, not much room either side. For two people with luggage, there is no place to put bags and belongings and no place to hang coats. The bathroom was decent but the AC unit is in the bathroom. It felt like the bathroom was always colder than the sleeping area. There were plenty of towels and the robes were a nice touch. The room is at the top of a flight of stairs so be prepared. The only parking is on street. If you, like us, arrive mid day, you most likely will have to park further up the street and schlep your luggage back. To get down to the waterfront its about a 4 block walk, maybe a little more. The place is quiet, which was nice. I guess, in most VRBO rentals you have to strip your own bed. Considering the price we paid, I prefer a hotel. Its cheaper, better parking, and you usually get breakfast. If you like more of an experience, you'll probably like this. It's just not me.

As advertised - clean, comfortable, quiet. The spa tub is huge. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioner works well. The bathroom floor has a squeak in front of the shower, but overall, it is a really nice rental. The hosts were very responsive, even at night.Know that there is a flight of stairs you must navigate to access the rental, and parking is on the street.
