Affordable and Convenient - the Mountainside Inn is walking distance to historic downtown Telluride and just 200 yards from the Coonskin Ski Lift (#7).

Bedding: Split-king

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.

This hotel room has a king bed that can be split into two twins if desired. The room has a flat-screen TV with satellite, mini-fridge, small microwave, fan and humidifier. The private bathroom has a shower (no tub) and hairdryer.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

It was a good, clean, modest hotel, and it was right in the middle of town, location, eating, etc. with getting back in the car.

There are ridiculous fees (some hidden) that would affect my decision to stay here again. They don't break the bank, but a Linens Surcharge, Reservation Fee and undisclosed Pet Fee are crazy. I don't believe anyone should have to pay for fresh linens when staying in a hotel, and why would I be charged for reserving a non-refundable room? This is also a pet friendly hotel which is why I booked it, but I never received any information about a Pet Fee. I feel taken advantage of and won't be staying again because of that reason.

Love the location of this hotel. Next to the river, hikes and town proper, You’ll never run out of things to do and see. The rooms were clean but needs a makeover. Some parts of the rooms were squeaky with every step. They also had a laundry room which is really handy when you run out of clothes like we did. The only other thing would be that there is no air conditioning in the rooms so it gets hot and stuffy during the afternoons. It does cool down during the night. I would suggest the hotel to buy portable air conditioners to either rent out or provide for free. They do provide fans but it’s not really helpful when the temp gets over 75. I would stay here again but I’ll bring my own portable air conditioner next time.

The location was good, but they charge 20 a night for parking that is not guaranteed. The room was clean but did have a musty smell when entering.

The mountainside inn was a great basecamp for our Telluride adventure. The room was pretty basic, but it was clean, the location is great (walking distance to the gondola and most things in town), and the pricing was cheaper than other properties in Telluride. Would recommend for others looking for an affordable option in town.

We rented a little studio on the first floor. It was comfortable and convenient. Our friends also rented a condo here. While our room maintained a nice temperature their room was very hot. So, depends which room you get. Not a 5 star, but everything was 5 star for what they offered: cleanliness; friendliness and location.

This property was ideally situated along the river. Our room was pretty basic but clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and did their best to make check-in a smooth process. Just a few little suggestions: label the shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower so they can be identified; include an iron and ironing board in the rooms- clothes get wrinkled after being in a suitcase - and maybe add a few more hooks in the bathroom for towels and such. Otha, we had a very nice stay.
