If you want to explore, resort is just a short trip from Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Seven outdoor pools and enjoy a snack from The Water's Edge Bar & Grill. Kids love our children's playground, giving the adults a much-needed break. Additional resort perks include basketball courts, bicycle rentals and The Shade — an all-ages recreation center. Gather around the fire pit or visit the on-site movie theater. This is a large campus set of “villas”—each villa is a very small, hotel-like room. Honestly indistinguishable from a hotel room inside. Each of the three neighborhoods has a slightly different feel. Ours was the most remote from the hotel and main campus. although still has golf course access. The room was not impeccably clean but serviceable. The location and amenities are very good—we enjoyed the pool and the marketplace. the kitchen is rather basic but fine for simple reheating and breakfasts. It was also very, very quiet, and the drapes kept the sun out in the morning if desired. The room stayed cool all day. which is important in the desert.

The property has a very positive feel with golf all around and pools close. Many people walking and running for exercise.
