Fort Marcy is a great location for walking downtown with attractive grounds. Even though some of the units are dated, the southwestern decor and setting seem to compensate enough to make this a decent vacation stay.

The facility was very clean and furnishings were updated nicely. Location was excellent and is walking distance to the Plaza (about a 15 minute walk to - a little longer coming back because it is uphill! But doable. The only drawback was due to full capacity, parking left a lot to be desired. We had to walk uphill several times in the dark and rain. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this facility.

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights. The condo is really cute and fit our needs for our trip. We ate out every night and only used the kitchen for making coffee and tea. The neighborhood was conveniently located to the plaza and access to the interstate. We really enjoyed sitting out on our balcony in the mornings and evenings, watching the birds and deer. We also enjoyed walking over to the Ft Macy trails. We only had a washing machine, no dryer in the apt, which was ok as we had brought enough things with us to wear. The beds and pillows, however, were extremely uncomfortable and were hard as rocks. Without those being changed out, I would not stay there again, regardless of all of the pluses. If we had stayed longer, I would have had to go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper and would have just left it there (we flew) We also did not have any wash cloths in the bathrooms, and only one microfiber cloth for makeup removal. The microfiber cloth was a nice touch, but we would have liked washcloths for our showers. Everything else was great....but the mattresses have to go!

It was very clean and easy to find. It does have several stairs that you have to step down or up from the apartment to the parking space

This place is located on a hill not far from downtown. Not really walkable, but less than 5 minute drive. The kitchen has the bare basics. The beds are hard and the pillows are not great. Everything else was just fine. We had a deer just outside the front door one morning.

This unit was ok but very dark inside - small windows, inadequate lighting. The interior temperature was never warm despite setting the system. Finally we were prevented from entering the property several minutes before our checkout time because the door code had been changed. This might have been catastrophic because the key keys and valuables were inside.

Very dated property in need of maintenance, cleaning and refresh. Stained furniture, broken tiles, ceiling panels falling down etc. owner needs to do a major refresh.

Showers were difficult to use. no wash cloths in any of the bathrooms. Beds were hard. People should be warned about the number of stairs in the complex. Parking lots were very cramped and difficult to get in and out. Unit was clean and furniture in the living room was comfortable.

The condo was very nice & fully furnished. The bedrooms were both upstairs. We didn’t realize that. They both open onto a deck that overlooks open space. The unit itself was fine. Before my next comments I need to say that we are all in our mid 70’s. If you are younger you may not care about these things. It was 36 steps up to the parking lot from the unit. Dragging suitcases around about wore us out. And then the bedrooms were on the second floor adding to the climb. We were told the square was a 10 min walk away. When we got there we discovered the condo was up a steep hill. Add the hill climb to the stairs. We drove. So if you are strong, young & physically fit, this condo is for you. It did not fit our needs.
