The newly refurbished rooms are either courtyard or river views and each room is en suite, with a shower and bath. A full Irish breakfast is made fresh to order and served in the restaurant overlooking the Ballywater River.

The Hotel is close to the historic site of Newgrange and the Battle of the Boyne site and Oldbridge. The village has its own historic ruins of Termonfeckin castle.

Drogheda City Centre is a five minute drive where you can enjoy a varied selection of shops and restaurants. Dublin airport is a 35 min drive and Dublin City Centre a 45 min drive.

We were traveling and stayed here overnight on our way elsewhere. The hotel is in a lovely location. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the people at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. We had arrived on a Saturday when there was a large festival in nearby Drogheda, and finding a place for dinner was a challenge. The woman who checked us in made several calls to find a restaurant that was open and had room for us. We were very grateful.
