Deluxe 2 Double Beds at RumFish Beach Resort

It was a great resort. Room was good and exactly what we expected. We will be back!

The the resort itself is beautiful. The location and proximity to the beach is amazing. The pools were clean and well maintained. The room, however, was a different story. Our floor was disgusting. We called housekeeping and asked them to clean it again and its was a very unsatisfactory cleaning. The staff is wonderful, welcoming and very helpful. The bartenders, waitresses, all friendly, helpful and extremely kind. I would definitely stay here again. The only downfall was the dirtiness of the room.

The room had a roach right when you walked in. Then the bathroom ceiling was leaking heavily so I couldn't get dressed in the bathroom to do my hair or makeup because it was dripping on my head. The hotel is in a great location with alot of amenities. The room was just disappointing

First checked in & didn’t get any kind of welcome. Upgraded before I went to a Villa which was very very expensive!! Idk what their idea of a Villa with 2 queen size beds but… that’s what I was supposed to get. They gave me a room that looked like a ghetto small apartment! One old dresser, small closet, very small accommodations with 2 double beds! I was very upset. They finally switched us over to a more updated room which was def much better. I ordered to go from Walmart, the front desk didn’t notify me or bring to my room. I had to go get it myself & bring it up. Every day the elevator was broken & had to use the stairs. We were on the 4th floor & I have very bad knees!!! Then the elevator was totally shut down & there was only a notice on the 1st floor so anyone that got up in the morn in the floors above had no idea the elevator was broken. No notice from front desk or posted on each floor that it was not working!! I was very misled & disappointed in the whole experience!! Then when I went to check out, they over charged me 600. I had to fight with the manager on getting the correct charge I was told over the phone for my stay!! What a rip off!!!! Will never again go back there!

Great view and easy access to the beach. Room was spacious with good amenities.

I don’t think this is a VRBO issue, but the room the resort first placed us in shouldn’t be a room option to stay in at all. It should be used for storage, supply or break room maybe. It was next to the main entrance where a lot of people traffic in and out. I know it’s not the fault of people that have to check out and catch an early flight, but listening to people talking loudly, rolling their luggage across the bumpy entrance and slam car doors between 4-7 a.m. isn’t exactly my idea of a vacation..lol The next night we were changed to a beautiful room with a view.

Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again. The elevator would only work 1/2 the time. The place is run down. For the money we paid it wasn’t worth it. I would give it a 2 star hotel.

Pretty dated Florida property. The daily parking and resort fees should have been noted upfront when booking

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and comfortable. You really don’t need to leave the resort. They have everything you could want.

Staff was courteous and responded quickly to any requests. Rooms were clean, grounds were kept clean and neat.

The added 55.00 for amenities was a complete surprise!! We thought we had paid everything before our stay or used our credit cards for any purchases. Other than that THE RUMFISH RESORT was a pleasant stay for a week!!

Great experience over the Holidays

The stay was very nice. We were upgraded to a room that overlooked the beach. That was a nice surprise and very much appreciated by me and my daughters.

We did not have a balcony or beach view.

These folks orchestrate fun like no other I’ve seen in awhile. It’s like a cruise ship sitting still! Very enjoyable. Now unhappy that 55/night “amenities fee” ( many fun things and times? Did not include bar soap in the room. They had towels and a functional kitchen which was nice but no hand soap. Seemed unnecessarily unthoughtful. Safe clean atmosphere kid friendly adult accommodations I did upgrade one level to a studio balcony and it was worth the 70 more s night quote

The beach was perfect and the staff were great.

Our stay was excellent. Great beach view from room. Clean room. Great staff. Walk to many places, very centrally located. At checkin Mike was amazing.

Great place to stay!

The room with two double beds was not adequate space for 3 adults and one child. We upgraded at the property so we had an additional room with a sofa bed. We loved the resort and the amenities included! Staying directly on the beach offered stunning views and easy access!

We loved Rumfish Resort

Not worth the money. And Resort fees and parking fees! We had a regular hotel room, small, two queen beds, view of the parking garage. Tiny bathroom with tiny cabinets too small to use. Had to charge devices on floor because of where outlets where. I'm sure there are larger rooms but it's just 2 of us. The Resort fee is too much in the off season. Most of what they have listed for the day didn't happen. So we're paying daily use the pool.

The property was amazing. Check in with ANA was super friendly and quick with complimentary drinks as wellEverything looks exactly like the pics and more.We were super excited about literally being steps from the ocean and the staff made each night entertaining and eventful despite some rain here and there.Will definitely come back again

We had a wonderful time, even though it rained the two days we stayed there all day long until evening. It’s a very nice property and clean, checking in was a breeze. And everybody that worked there was wonderful, especially the gentleman that checked us in and the waitress in the Italian restaurant. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this place to everyone we know.

A little snafu in the beginning getting in the room but was quickly resolved and upgraded to a gulf view room. Staff were helpful & super friendly . We were pleasantly surprised how fun and lively this resort was with daily itineraries & live music, perfect for families . The onsite store and restaurants were very convenient we especially loved all the big fish tanks we were not expecting this on property .We will definitely be back w/ the grandkids

Very Nice beach property and room ok. 35 per night parking fee and possible Resort fees should be more prominent. When ads say All fees included and then you get hit with those fees it leaves a very bad taste.

Facility is great for a beach stay with your family and a great location. Is obvious it’s an aging building but it’s kept up okay. The sliding doors leaked from the balcony above during the rain the man door showed light all around needing weather stripping allowing warm air to infiltrate the room.

A lot of construction going on while on this stay.

My stay was ok. The room was dated and the A/C only cooled the room to about 76-78. The elevators are an accident waiting to happen. Besides all that the staff was very nice and pleasant.

Resort itself is beautiful with great views of the gulf. We didn’t use a lot of the resort’s enmities and therefore felt the resort fee was not worth the charge. Definitely don’t need a car as there’s so much within walking distance. Both restaurants on site were very good. Would stay here again with no hesitation.

In the first room we were put in, the thermostat was not working, so it was hot. We went back to front desk and were promptly moved to another room. The resort is still recovering from last year’s storm, so there were some repairs going on, but that was not a problem for us. All onsite restaurants/bars were operating. Housekeeping did clean our room nicely each day. The availability of beach umbrellas and chairs was great and the guys working to set them up were pleasant. The beach was not super crowded while we were there, so that was nice.

The description said luxury but the hotel said the room was standard. The picture is very deceiving, you face the parking garage. The hotel itself is awesome.

Nice area. Exceeded expectations. I liked the layout of room and it had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Many of the amenities were enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed just to crash our heads. Room still had sand and wet carpets from previous stay. We couldnt change the dial for our hot water temp, luckily enough my fiance is a blue collar man and rigged the shower himself to control the tempt but wasnt 100% a fix. Cute little spot to see St Pete in though! Wasn't something id booked again though. Nate at Rum Fish was awesone. So kudos to him!!!

We had a wonderful trip. The pools were amazing. The beach set up was perfect. The on-site restaurants had fantastic food. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
