Stayed Jun 12, 2026When we arrived the outside of the hotel looked sketchy. When we tried to check in the woman at the front desk said there was no hot water or clean bedding so we would need to go on line and cancel our reservations. When we tried to do so the websight would not allow it. When we tried to message the host through VRBO it would say a refund is not available. We tried to get a refund through VRBO customer help and they said they had to verify with the hotel. Put me on hold then came back to say the hotel was not answering the phone and neither was the host and messages were not responded to. I still have no response to my messages or refund and we paid for another place to stay. I just got a message stating we received a review from the hotel. How does that happen if they cancelled our reservation?
