Stayed Apr 23, 2021Absolutely loved staying off the beaten path somehere quiet and away from other tourists for a fraction of the price. There are 2 floors with 5 brand new, apartment style units per floor. It felt intimate and private and having so much space in the unit (kitchen, bathroom and bedroom all separated from eachother) was luxurious for the price. There are several convenience stores within a block to pick up snacks, alcohol and/or mixers (mini fridge, no freezer in unit). There were also several delicious, highly rated, inexpensive local restaurants within a few blocks. Felt perfectly safe walking at night in the area (even the occasional stray dog left us alone). The walk to Medano Beach access is about a mile, but Ubers were only $4 USD one way if needed. Onsite garage parking is available but we didn't want to deal with a rental and navigating driving (lots of one way streets and they are not marked). Host was fluent in English, kind, easily accessible, and sent us a WhatsApp the day before with property information and helped arrange for an on-site COVID-19 test for us (currently mandatory to have for readmittance to the US). Would return and stay there again!

Stayed Dec 24, 2022We loved staying at Casa Palo Verde for a week this holiday season. It is located about a mile North of Marina where the crazy party was happening. It is located in the heart of the Downtown neighborhood and we were able to take Uber everywhere we want. Each Uber ride cost $4-6 to go anywhere in town. We even took Uber to further out beaches Like Playa Santa Maria and Playa el Chulino for $10-$15. We walked everywhere when we feel like it and felt pretty safe walking around the neighborhood. I loved strolling around the area during the quiet morning or late evening away from all the tourist activities. It could get a little bit overwhelming. The room is equipped with a full Kitchen + Living room combo, a restroom, and a bedroom. The hotel also has a small pool (which we had no chance to use) and a lounging area in the courtyard. It even provides free parking if you're planning to rent a car. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I had a great conversation with some of their lobby staff members whenever we get a chance. And for check-ins and room clean-ups, they contacted us via Whatsapp which makes communications so much more convenient and timely. The room has a TV with Netflix which enjoyed very much. I love the clean and minimalistic look of the building and the decor inside the unit. The only delta was hot water in the shower. The hot water tank was too small probably and only ran hot water for a couple of minutes when we showered. We asked the front desk to address the issue but there was nothing much to do to improve it because the capacity of the tank was just too small. We learned how to run the hot water smartly during our stay AND the lukewarm water was alright after all because the weather was pretty warm. So it was not a deal breaker. I think this place is a perfect option for those who don't want to bother with all-inclusive lux resorts and just enjoy the natural beauty of Cabo as much as possible as we did. We loved checking out different local restaurants every meal and exploring the REAL Cabo neighborhood this way.

Stayed Nov 29, 2022The room was clean and adequately appointed. Filtered water was made available for drinking. Don't be deceived that they have a pool as it is no more than a 'double-wide' hot tub with cold water. Do not stay here with children.

Stayed Apr 22, 2022Casa Palo Verde is a beautiful, easy access hotel with everything you could need. The staff was great and offered amazing bar and restaurant recommendations for our stay. Walking distance to everything but it is a bit off the beaten path. Would absolutely stay again!

Stayed Nov 12, 2021Everything was very clean and very nice. Just as advertised. Good location. We could have walked to most places but did have a car. The onsite parking was great. Cute common patio and small, clean pool on property. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 26, 2020The hotel was clean and had good internet service. I got a little lost finding it but it was a nice stay. I did have a fellow guest party until 4 am one night and the management didn't seem to do anything to stop it so that was a little frustrating.
