Stayed Oct 1, 2025This was a great place for three friends and a dog. The home was well set up with a good kitchen, comfy warm beds and a good space for the dog to run on his lead. We really enjoyed the histories at the Magpie Nest - writings by year 9 students from interviewing locals, and a history of Orroroo to mark its 100th birthday. This was particularly interesting as we were in Orroroo as the town prepared to celebrate 150 years (green and gold ribbons) in October 2025. A lovely, friendly town to stay in and Magpie Nest was a really good, handy place to stay.
