Stayed Jun 25, 2025The townhome was in a great location for us. Everything was as described. We didn't make use of the resort amenities, but we did see lots of families having fun at the water park and on the ball courts.One minor nitpick, there is only 1 AC unit for a 2 story townhome, so expect the downstairs bedroom and living area to be a little colder than the upstairs bedrooms. One significant nitpick that didn't affect us but could leave you without a place to stay the first night if you arrive late like us and aren't the type to call ahead (like us typically, but luckily not this time). The townhome is at Villatel, and there is no check-in. They email the address on file all of the check-in info, and then the security card reviews that email to let you in and give you a parking pass. Only problem is that I never got the email, but I only knew it was missing because I looked at other reviews on other sites for Villagel stays. Villatel sent the check-in instructions to RoomPicks who did not forward to me. I called Villatel and straightened the reservation out the day of arrival, while guest services was still open, and we had no issues checking in. Had we not called, the security guard wouldn't have let us in, and we would've missed a night of our stay and had to scramble for an alternative that first night. I'm not docking any points because the stay was great and that issue didn't affect us, but I want to be sure you know to call ahead of time & ensure a smooth stay for you.
