Two Pines is located on the St Lawrence waterfront near the Howe Island Ferry. The location was in close proximity to Gananoque dining, shopping and activities but offered the cottage life experience. We really enjoyed our time both in town and at the cottage. Despite the forecasted heat, the location provided wonderful breezes from the water & despite the cabin having no AC, we never overheated!! Loved the variety of birds on the waterway as well as watching all the coming and goings of various watercraft and the ferry. The cottage itself is basic but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. If you enjoy rustic cottage life, this will meet your needs ?

very quiet and nice area, just 5 min drive to Gananoque and the town, restaurant, shopping, parks and the most important, the 1000 island cruise. the property is a little old. maybe need some renovation and make it looks newer. the beds and sofa and coach are old but they are clean and comfortable. we just use this property for sleeping and also for site seeing and we had a good time there. it is affordable for a small family.

Comfy bed, lovely river side spot, and all amenities we needed in kitchen. The shower is small which was fine for me but a bit cramped for men with wide shoulders and sulfur water so bring your own drinking water if that matters to you. Easy to grab a large jug in town and toss in frig.

To be fair when we arrived, it was a plus 32 day. But we arrived late in the afternoon and the cabin was all closed up.We knew about having no air conditoning.. but we atleast expected the windows to be open or fans to be on. It was a litteral sweat lodge. We had 2 very young kids with us and after an hour in the cabin with all the small windows open and doors and fans.. it was still too hot so we opted for a hotel and ate the cost. Place was clean a lot of goose poop lutside with honestly the owner cant do anything about but again having small children and foghting them to keep shoes on was just not an ideal relaxing vacation we hoped for.

Cottage directly on the river. Very Clean property both outside and inside. Owners had great communication. Looking for a fish camp, this is it. Covered boat dock was awesome.
