If you want a change of environment, in a place with all the comforts and nature, this is the place, the host family very friendly and resolute. The boat trip is completely recommended. Next summer I will surely return.

It was a house in a compound of houses/rental place that was owner occupied. There was a view of water between the buildings. We were greeted very graciously by our host who ran down the unique nature of the property. She reminded us to ask for what we needed which was very reassuring. All in all we had a very relaxing, restful time. Thank you Courtney and family.

We had a wonderful visit to Howe Island. The hosts were friendly and responsive. They were very generous with their time and ensured that everyone had an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming, nightly fires, peaceful sunsets, and sightseeing off of the island. Definitely a great place to spend your vacation!!

We had a wonderful time! Courtney & Chris were great to deal with! I texted her when we were on the ferry & she was waiting to meet us at our cottage. They were very welcoming & even invited us to join them for wood fired pizza which was absolutely delicious!! The place was very clean and cozy. It had the perfect amount of everything we might possibly have needed. It was central to the the excursions we wanted to experience - the 5 hour cruise & Boldt castle tour and Kingston Penitentiary tour - both were fabulous & highly recommended. Thank you Courtney & Chris! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

We had a great stay here to watch the eclipse. The property is peaceful, the hosts are great, and the stars are beautiful at night. 10/10 would stay again.

We were greeted by their two lovely boys with the Cabin owner right behind them, while she was in middle of baking their family dinner pizza... we know we were at the right place for a pleasant and peaceful vacation. House is well maintained and the drive from main road to the property is to cherish far. We wish we had a longer stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Communication was difficult at first until we got Courtney’s cell instead of her husband’s. All the amenities were there except for washer & dryer and ironing board & iron which would be great for longer stay. On hot day’s in bedrooms standing oscillating fans would be helpful. Also garbage and recycling instructions would be helpful also. Courtney and Chris great couple. Very quiet secluded location. Enjoyed our stay.

We were pleased with the boat ramp and dock with ample room for our boat trailer. This allowed us to easily access the St. Lawrence on our own boat, something that had been on our bucket list. Two couples stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom red house and we had lots of room We took our own Starlink for internet. We had no issues with it being off grid - there was plenty of power for all of our needs. Nights were cool enough we didn’t miss A/C Place was very clean inside. Dock space was awesome with heavenly waterfront views and sunsets. We will be back in the future

Quaint little property filled with wonder and awe. We loved our stay in our well appointed to cottage waking up to the birds. Everything we needed to enjoy our week stay was available to us. The quick ferry ride was so convenient to access the various nearby activities recommended by the hosts. Quiet evenings were enjoyed watching the sunset by the water while nature entertained. Campfires are a must, smores, fireflies, stars and silence. The hosts were amazing, entertaining, reliable, accessible and felt like family.
