STUNNING 2 BEDROOM AT LAKES RESORT NEAR DISNEY UNIVERSAL SEA WORLD

I had to cancel our trip within the 7-day period due to bad weather in my home state that prevented us from traveling. I requested to re-book on a future date. I did not purchase insurance however I was not just cancelling but re-booking. The host Jake would not work with me to apply my booking fees to the future date, so I was out the full . I understand the policy, but this was not just a full cancellation, but a reschedule. Some understanding of the unexpected situation would have been expected.

I LOVED the unit, the facilities the stores and restaurants and location. It was so conveniently located and the bed was Lucious!!

The condo was as described just different from the pictures. It was very large, clean and comfortable. The communication through the resort was very efficient. We had trouble connecting to the WiFi and therefore could not use our baby monitor. The resort got very full towards the end of our stay and we heard a lot of noise from the people around us and outside. Overall it was a nice place to stay with great amenities for kids.

I was in Orlando for work and my husband and son came down to spend the weekend. While booking, i added a note that my husband would be checking us in and that was overlooked which caused additional waiting while he contacted me and I contacted the host, Jake. Jake resolved the issue very quickly but it would've been better if it hadn't happened. This is a resort with time shares. There was a link in our check in email for discounted park tickets if you attend a 90 minute tour and Jake called during our stay to try to get us to attend the tour as well. If it had not been for these minor annoyances, I would give 5 stars in all categories.The condo is clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location is central for the parks. The resort is very large with thousands of people. Our building was mostly quiet and you didn't realize there were that many people around unless you went to the main building area. We didn't visit any pools since it was a short weekend stay and we went to the parks. (It was very nice that they didn't require a 7 night booking.) The onsite sports bar, convenience store and ice cream shop were greatly appreciated.

There was a hiccup with the ac at the first unit, but once they were able to move us to a different unit, we had a great time. Pools are really crowded, but the view was great.

Check out times are wrong. They told me message Vrbo when I did that I never got a reply!! Just to rate everything. The water park is NOT included it’s 25 a person they close at 6 waste of money. Didn’t tell us the splash pad was closed so wasted 75. Fishing poles didn’t have any fishing line. They were rude. Room tub didn’t work.

Our stay was amazing. The kids loved it. The water park was awesome. Rooms very clean and comfortable will be booking again soon

I would normally have given the overall 5 stars, but twice we had issues with our room keys not working, the first time being right when we checked in. I had to drive back to the office to get them rescanned again. The second time was when my young son really had to use tge bathroom and ended up going in the bushes. The room itself was really nice and clean. It looked like it was just recently remodeled. The AC and all the appliances worked great, too.We would definitely stay again!

Fabulous trip with great amenities and lots of space.

First be careful of where you check-in. VRBO sent us an email with the WRONG site address. So after you finally get to the correct location after a day of traveling with your kids, make sure dead bugs are not under your pillows.

After all day walking around and visiting all the parks, we came back very tired about 12 o’clock at night and the AC was not cooling after the AC guy came. He told us that this AC unit has been broken for a couple days and all they had him do was recharge so we are sitting here at 12 o’clock and I will no AC having to pack up all our clothes with the kids and move to another room was a little disappointed that they rented us the room, knowing they had an issue for the last couple days the AC met himself admitted to it When I let the manager know all he told me was that front desk was not aware of the situation

The water was turned off overnight for maintenance and they did a poor job of setting expectations. Saying the water would be off until 5am then not actively communicating timeline when it was off until almost 8 is really unfortunate.

We had a great stay at this resort and couldn't have planned it any better. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The condo was very nice and had everything we could ask for. There were restaurants available and bars for drinks. Lots of options for the different pools on the property. Would definitely recommend and super easy to get to and from Sea World. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Everything was as described, and I would stay again. We had a great fanily visit! One tiny complaint... the on-site waterpark was an additional $25 per person/child. Swimming pools were abundant, but the resort charging for a featured amenity seems a bit excessive.
