Enjoy the 2nd weekend of the Coachella Valley Music Festival in Palm Desert, California, at this beautiful Marriott resort which offers a superb stay for guests.

Shuttle buses run between the resort and the festival grounds. Check with the concierge for the schedule upon arrival.

There is WiFi and free covered parking. Nte that the buildings are all 3-stories with elevators, hence no problems for our handicapped guests.

This is a Studio unit with a King size bed and aqueen Sofa Bed and a large TV. It has a patio overlooking one of the fairways. It has a kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, cups, plates and glasses. The 2-room bathroom has a jetted bathtub.

Two fitness centers - one open 24 hrs, 6 pools, jacuzzi's, tennis and pickle ball courts, an 18-hole golf course, ping pong tables, fire pits and barbecues galore. Even has a kid's center with arts and crafts stuff.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a minimum stay of 4 nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to extend your stay after the festival into Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - the 20th, 21st and 22nd, you can rent one, two or all three nights for just $125.00/night - no minimums. Disregard the $177 price and the minimums you see on the calendar as they are for anyone who wants to rent those 3 nights who is NOT renting the weekend nights.

Those extra 3 nights will remain available to the Weekend renter unless someone else comes along to rent them.

This property is truly marvelous. The resort has a convenience store on site and is a mile away from a beautiful, upscale super market that also serves food.

From the markt, head down Monterrey Ave 2 - 3 miles away to downtown Palm Desert with its bevy of chic shops, loads of restaurants and night time dancing at some of the restaurants and bars.

Then take another 20 minute drive down famous Highway 111 and visit Palm Springs. From there, another 25 minutes to the Indian casino, which is next to a large outlet mall.

A great place to be near the festivals. Great weather and you'll see why the lower California desert is so popular during the winter and springtime.
