Long walks to everything parking is tight as it can get. But beautiful everything

This place was amazing and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property, nice view of Hanalei bay in one direction. Coffee pot but no coffee, sugar, creamer. Snorkeling gear - one set- fins ripped, goggle but no snorkel. So useless. Two small combined shampoo/conditioner containers for 2 people for 4 days. One small bar soap, no body soap or lotion. No microwave. Parking a nightmare. No onsite breakfast. Have to drive. Not set up for anyone with walking challenges. No onsite dining on Wed eves, again have to drive somewhere. No microwave. One plate broken. Checkout procedures ask that we sweep the floor, take out the garbage and wash the dishes. Isn't this what housekeeping is supposed to do?

We had a fantastic stay at Hanalei Bay Resort. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made settling in easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hosts were highly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring everything went smoothly.The resort itself is outstanding, especially for those who enjoy staying active. There are numerous amenities including tennis courts, pickleball courts, and great swimming options, all of which were well-kept and easy to access. Overall, a great experience—we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a relaxing yet active getaway in Kauai.

Overall we had a good stay. The view from the room was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The resort itself was nice and the staff around the property were very friendly and helpful, especially the people who shuttle guests to and from their cars. Parking is a bit of a walk from the units, so they take you by golf cart, which was convenient, though it might be a little harder for older guests. we enjoyed our stay and the view was truly amazing.

The ocean view was the best part about this hotel suite room. You can watch the sunset from your porch. We were a little surprised how dated the room was, especially the bathroom. The shower curtain rings were rusty and the tub/bath was not very romantic. There is no microwave allowed in this style unit, so this made for no cooking at all. You can use the outdoor kitchen by the second pool if you want to cook with the neighbors. It only had a coffee maker, small fridge and small countertop area. I would recommend better coffee mugs. Those were tiny. There was little to no hanging room in the cleaning closet for clothes. As well as a dresser that had linens and books in it that I had to remove to put our clothes in. We had one luggage rack for two of us. There were two small bedside lamps that barely lit up the space. I also had to move one to see my luggage in the corner. Overall we liked the Hanelai Bay Resort, it had lovely grounds and a beautiful pool. The hot tub was full all the time, we never got in it..it's tiny! You cannot park close to this unit, you can have the golf cart take you to it if you don't want to walk 5 min to the lot. We used it for check in only. It's has very hilly paved paths which were great for us, we love walking. But good to know for people that don't! There is a steep path that takes you down to a beach, roughly a 15 min walk. Very pretty down there and you can eat at The One's Hotel bar or beachside restaurant too. We loved HI!

This unit is very well decorated, clean, and has the most amazing view of Hanalei Bay. There is a toaster, kettle, small bar type fridge, dishes for three, cutlery in the drawer and all the little extras you can imagine: two beach chairs, snorkel gear, hiking poles, very comfy king bed. Modern bathroom with plenty of supplies to cover your needs. 2 Onsite restaurants and a little coffee shop that serves a great breakfast burrito. Hosts are great communicators. The resort staff are top notch. We saw families and honeymooners all enjoying the resort. The resort was low key and quiet while we were here. Great for couples and families.

Great stay with an amazing view!

The condo was great with amazing views. It was the best spot to watch the sunset during winter months. The property is beautiful with beach access, large lovely pool, great grilling facilities, and fire pits.

We had a wonderful time in this sweet spot at Hanalei Bay. The apartment was well outfitted and had the most gorgeous view! The resort had nice features such as an on site restaurant, beautiful pool and laundry and ice close to the unit. Very close to Hanalei town for shopping and restaurants as well as great beach locations. Perfect for a couple looking to relax and enjoy the best of Kauai!

The view from the studio is superb! We also enjoyed the easy access to the beach via a short walk down the hill on a paved trail. Lots of birds are always around and numerous nene geese are almost always present. Excellent communication makes for a seamless experience. The restaurants on site are really good and should be considered during your stay. Nice to have AC, but we didn’t need it. We will return!

Had a slight issue with internet and the owner solved it quickly. Beautiful complex and gorgeous view. We did a lot of beach hopping and hiking and the unit had walking sticks and beach chairs which were great to use. Would stay again!!

Property was exactly as advertised. And, like everyone before me has said, the view was stunning. We had the unit that was more like a hotel room, but it was more spacious. We like the idea of using the two units together if we make it back to Princeville. Resort staff was friendly and were quick with a ride when we needed. Grounds were lush and beautiful and the beach was perfect with turtles at some point every day. Highly recommend Amir’s units as not all have his view.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The unit was very clean and was a wonderful location. We loved coming back from a day out and enjoying some quiet time Disney at the lower less crowded pool.

We had the best time! We loved the resort so much! It truly felt like a second home. The pictures of the room were completely accurate! We loved our stay!

Perfect location. It had everything we needed and then you get a discount to rent snorkel gear in town. Would definitely recommend.

We were absolutely stunned by the view and overall upkeep of the grounds and resort. The pools were great, the beach access was amazing, and truly it was an amazing spot. The workers on golf cars took us all over. The beach, did I mention the amazing beach access? Downsides:We were unsure that the AC really worked at any point but it was cool and breezy outside and we were able to air out the room that way. The bed was also disappointing. The pillows were very flat and the mattress left much to be desired.

We loved this condo! It was well decorated, clean and comfy with a great lanai view of the ocean. We even had a sofa for lounging and lots of dressers and a closet for our clothes and belongings. It was nicely situated between the beach and the main lodge.

room was mediocre, and it’s a great resort and the view is fantastic. We are happy to stay there.

Room short of amenities. Coffee pot no coffee. Shower&tub no soap or shampoo. It’s the little things hotels do provide but this did not. Resort had no place for full breakfast just small coffee shop with nix bald. The view was amazing but needs the little extras since extra charges are applied when leaving

Let’s start with the good! The location of the resort is stellar and the view from the room is stunning. The restaurants on-site are great as are the amenities. The north shore is such a special place we can’t wait to come back. Onto the not so great. The room itself is definitely dated, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but didn’t really come across in the pictures. When we arrived, the carpets had just been cleaned so the floor was wet until we want to sleep that night. The fridge was also broken and leaking the entire time we were there so the carpet in front of the fridge was constantly wet. There was a handyman near by but his availability to come by was limited and we were out and about doing things every day, so it was difficult to coordinate.

We loved our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort, the view from the balcony is breathtaking.

View is the key attribute. Was relatively practical stay. Bit of a walk to car, and parking can be challenging, although the property does valet you when need. Resort pool and spa are very good. Just be aware this is essentially akin to a hotel room with a coffee maker and minifridge. But positive overall.
