This is a very cozy Treehouse we affectionately refer to as The Shack in the Back, or Crew's Quarters. The bedroom is two steps off the mini kitchenette.
Built on stilts over the sand dune you will wake up to morning sun dappling through the trees. It's on the back side of the property so you can enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and likely see some visiting deer. Although very small, it's more than enough for a romantic getaway with a small kitchenette to prepare dinner for two.>

Stayed Jul 14, 2024The staff were wonderful. The property was very small, uncomfortable and hard to access. We are both in our 70's and were not aware we would have to walk up several flights of stairs to reach our destination. We carried our luggage and cooler up these steps and became totally exhausted doing so. There was an inclinator for luggage but it wasn't at our disposal. We parked at the top of the lot and had to back the vehicle down a steep incline to leave. A better explanation of the property might solve this issue. It was also very pricey for what we received.

Stayed Sep 14, 2025What a cute spot to stay! We enjoyed that The Treehouse was tucked into the back of the property which gives you some privacy. The space in small, but has everything two people might need. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary in mid September. We enjoyed dinner and shopping in Saugatuck, watching the boats go by and walking around the neighborhoods by Holiday Hill. What a great location and great place to stay!

Stayed May 23, 2025106 steps up and you make it to an adorable little place in the tree line, property was clean and location was great, 5 minute drive to downtown or walk across the street and take the ferry. Too chilly for the pool but it looked clean and welcoming. We loved it!

Stayed May 26, 2025Staff was so welcoming. The room was spotless. We had coffee provided and hot tea. It was a relaxing stay and a 10 minute drive to Butler Restaurant and shops. There are a lot of steps to get up to the treehouse, so it might not be the best place for someone who has trouble walking. But we loved it.
