A perfect place for a family gathering. Things to do for all ages if you like the outdoors. The property is on two bends in the river with beautiful, changing views.

This property is gorgeous! Every one of our guests were so impressed, they swam in the river, sat around the bonfire and enjoyed getting to know each other. There were a few hiccups, ac's not working in the rooms and a sink that fell off the wall but Justin was quick to repair anything we had issue with. I can not say enough good things about Justin, he saved the day several times. The amphitheater was perfect for the wedding ceremony, the grounds kept all of our guests entertained while we prepared for the rehearsal on Friday and the wedding on Saturday. They need to work on the suggested vendor list, much of the information was out of date. I would say that the individual rooms are over priced, however we felt that the price for the Grand Lodge was appropriate. Beautiful memories were made here!!

We rented the great lodge, all of the suites, and about 13 of the individual rooms for the weekend. We used the outdoor activities area and fire pit on Friday night, cooked s’mores and had a marvelous time… We also had a patio party on Bre’s patio and it was perfect! We spent Saturday afternoon down by the river at the dock… Everyone had a great time. The place is immaculate and decorated in luxurious style and authentic details. We had everything that we needed… And then some! Melinda was wonderful to work with and went way above and beyond to help make our weekend so special! They accommodated every request and had even more things we’re available as options if we wanted to include. Our friends and family are still going on and on about how beautiful and relaxing and gorgeous this place was! The owners have gone to great detail and expense to make this place just wonderful! And it shows!! My kids want to go back for Christmas and stay there!! We will be returning hopefully annually!

First off, this property is beautiful and has a prime spot on the river. The property is ideal for a wedding or large event. So this is definitely a great spot for that! We stayed there for a family get away for 3 nights and felt it needed a bit more luxury for the price. The main bedrooms had things in all the drawers/closets so basically no one unpacked. There is a wonderful river spot on the property but it needs outdoor furniture, picnic area, and gravel (besides dirt). Also, there is a large area in the middle of the property that needs outdoor eating areas with shade (or) overall nice outdoor furniture around property for social gathering. The main kitchen in the Great Room needs a deep cleaning (inside all the drawers and all the dishes) and new appliances are much needed.. Specifically, needs two dishwashers (comment above about clean dishes), a commercial ice maker and new oven. There is a wonderful new commercial kitchen but I believe that is an extra cost and not near the Great Room where you eat and hang out. The property manager Melinda was very helpful and Justin went out of his way to help out. I will add that Melinda suggested the use of a chef, Regan Johnson, who is not only an amazing chef but was a delight to work with. Food was 10 stars and made the stay much more enjoyable. My suggestion to the owner would be to work on a different price structure. The add on's in price, if you use this or use that, was a bit negative and gives off a vibe that doesn't go with the overall special feeling of the ranch. My other suggestion would be to KEEP the charm of the original ranch and don't add things like event lighting/colored lights. Overall, I look forward to returning one day as I heard a pool will be added in the future. The overall town of Mineral Wells was adorable and obviously going to be a big hit when the new hotel opens. I also have to admit I went crazy for the CRAZY WATER.

This property is an amazing place. The owner has renovated everything while keeping the original charm. I can not recommend this place enough. The Ranch would be a great place for weddings, family gatherings or just a getaway. Melinda and Jennifer went above and beyond to create an amazing experience. Thanks to everyone for making our weekend.
