** To check-in: When arriving at the resort, enter through the porte-cochere, take the escalator down and follow the directional signs along the pathway to Marriott’s Kauai Beach Club, passing the entrance to the main hotel lobby (on your left) and taking a right at Lamonts toward the end of the pathway. The Marriott Vacation Club Owner and Guest Services area will be located on your left, adjacent to the Owner Relations office.

** Please note that the Royal Sonesta will be resurfacing the Main Pool deck flagstone in phases throughout 2026. During this refurbishment, the pool and hot tubs are expected to remain open; however, pool deck seating will be reduced. Thank you for your understanding as they make this important update.

** Select villa lanais are undergoing railing and spalling repairs through Aug. 2026. Access and views may be limited, with possible scaffolding or cables present. All other resort amenities remain fully available.


** While we look forward to welcoming you, please be aware that the Hawaii Electric Company has notified us of periodic power outages that may impact our resort from time to time. These outages are part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) strategy that is being implemented across the island to proactively shut off power to help prevent wildfires when certain conditions exist. The Hawaii Electric Company expects these precautions to remain in place on the Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii Islands for the foreseeable future. As noted, these outages could occur at any time and may last for up to one to three days.

The ocean view was fabulous. The staff there is exceptional and friendly. There is shopping and great restaurants nearby. They also provide a free airport shuttle service.     Could have used a kitchen. Was not allowed to request 1 day shorter even though owner had not seen or signed the paperwork yet. Nervous that the owner took time to review and accept our booking. Made it difficult for last minute travel plans abd booking flights. But liked our stay overall. The beach , after much investigation was actually our favorite on the island besides hanalei bay. If I had to do it over I’d have booked one hotel up by princeville for half the vacation for hanalei bay access. And the rest here. Mind you it does take like 1.5 hours to get to Waimea canyon or something like that. Surprised we found this deal, seems like this hotel the royal sonesta is actually way more expensive usually. We didn’t eat at the resort. Too expensive. Which is why we would have preferred a kitchen.
