We rented our accommodations at Pueblo Bonita Sunset through an owner on VRBO. That experience was wonderful. Vanessa was always very communicative, accommodating & accessible. And, she proactively refunded our security deposit. The PROBLEM was with the resort! I would NOT recommend it. the language barrier was terrible, a lot of double talk & it was virtually impossible to find out what all the extra charges were for. It wasn't even in English and no one would explain or interpret. I finally paid for the extras & got the heck out. What started out to be a very affordable vacay turned into a very costly one. The pools, restaurants & beach were only accessible by way of golf carts ( unless you are a mountain climber) The food was mediocre at best. We bought the all-inclusive package and had to sign a room check for everything we consumed. With that said, they EXPECTED a 20% tip! This was not our first rodeo but I guess you live & learn. If you are planning a week vacay in Mexico, buyer beware.

Very large property. Golf cart cabs necessary to get from A to B. Lots to do. Too bad the ocean isn’t swimmable.
