I loved the windows and view of nature. Everything was provided. Access was simple. Not wheelchair accessible. A perfect and affordable space for retreating and solitude.

This place was strait up cozy! Very clean and quite comfortable. The area was peaceful with very little traffic. We barely saw any cars pass. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely visit it again.

We have family in Kerrville and this beautiful home allowed the other half of our family to enjoy a hill country Christmas with our son and his wife and children. We were so busy doing family things this time around but look forward to enjoying the landscape and fire pit and immaculate and modern tiny home again soon! Very comfortable. The outside temp was very cold at times but the heater in the home was perfect. It was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Outside fire pit was a nice feature.

Very helpful responsive host. We enjoyed the many beautiful deer outside our bedroom window at sunrise each morning. The Avery house was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, spices and cooking supplies.

We had a lovely stay. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the outdoors seating area.

The place is the perfect getaway nestled in a quiet location and is very nice with all the amenities plus some! Very clean, great overall experience and will definitely be back!

This was the perfect hideaway for our weekend retreat away from the city. We enjoyed the quiet and natural sounds of bird singing in the morning. We loved seeing all the deer and the close proximity to downtown Kerrville. The home was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for a comfortable weekend! Check-in/out was a breeze.

I only have a couple things to say… it is a lovely LITTLE house in a nice area that is fairly close to everything. However, I wish the images didn’t make the house look so big because it is so TINY. I really don’t know how you could sleep 6 people, with only one bathroom…. We had two people and were on top of each other… The upstairs bed is directly underneath the AC unit up there so whoever sleeps in that bed is blasted with air all night, the doors downstairs are sliding but when they are fully open it’s a bit difficult to shut them as there is nothing to grab onto… and the downstairs room gets hot at night if you close the door because there isn’t any air that is allowed to get in there; luckily the host provided a fan, so thankful for that! Also the shower head doesn’t put out much water, the pressure is fine, but the head itself puts out just enough water to get your head warm. Also, the entrance to the driveway could use a little grading, if I’m being picky.. leaving and coming it’s very hard not to hit the culvert, especially if you drive a bigger vehicle! Overall the host was extremely communicative and the stay was very good, the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable too, so that was a plus for me!

We were in town for a wedding and this was such a great spot for us to stay! Super clean and cute, could only be better if the bathroom weren’t through the primary bedroom.

This is a fantastic property! Clean, comfortable, and peaceful! Our family of four had a great trip to the hill country, taking in different experiences and coming back to relax at the centrally located Avery House each day. Our kids enjoyed the beautiful property as much as we did! Thank you for creating and sharing this space.

We came to town to watch baseball. Perfect little house and the property was excellent for children to run and play.

We went to Kerrville with the purpose of going to the empty cross. We lost our dad on December 29th and did a road trip for my mother. We went to James Avery on the grounds, saw beautiful birds, deer, had an amazing time around the fire. The house was exactly what we needed for the night. The location was perfect and the home was beautiful. We will be back during the summer time and stay here again.

We arrived at the Avery House to escape the every day hustle of living the city life. It was the perfect cozy space with comfy beds and quiet atmosphere. The fire pit was an awesome area for conversation and relaxation. The only change we would have made is staying longer! Thank you for letting us stay!

My friend and I came to Kerrville to have a birthday celebration. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was as expected. The beds were clean and very comfortable, which is so nice. We were greeted by 3 deer when we arrived, just munching some grass. It is close to town, but also has a remote feel. Would stay there again!
