Stayed Aug 31, 2024We came to town for one night to see a show at The Shelter (in St. Andrews). The VRBO was perfect-very close, comfortable, easy entrance with perfect communication, and had great accommodations. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed Mar 1, 2024Great location to food, bars, and places around Detroit. If not walking, short rides via Uber or lift. we actually hopped on the bus one night, and the driver dropped us off at the apparatus room for our dinner reservations. So I canceled our Lyft that was on the way. The owner has redone the historical home very well. The first night we just hung out and played the Simpsons arcade game in the basement and darts. Ended up beating the Simson game. The host responded immediately with any questions. My wife had the best birthday ever. We walked across the street and ate at the Highlands at the top of the Renaissance Center with cool views. Food was off the charts. Caught a Red Wings game Saturday after doing brunch. Such an amazing weekend. Overall, bathrooms were clean with all the amenities, beds were comfortable. The host even provided beverages and snacks, complementary, including a couple bottles of wine! This place made our weekend!
