Valerie was super friendly. She met me at the door with a leaf-blower, prepared to blow the leaves off the front steps for me. The house is cozy and comfortable, with a fenced back yard for my dog and a fire pit for me! Valerie provided ample bottled water and snacks, as well. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Valerie is good people. This is just right for 2 people looking for a simple stay. We were attending a wedding at Laurel Falls, only a 6 minute drive up the road.

I was so happy to have my dog there and she had a wonderful time. My husband and I built a fire in the fire pit and had a nice evening. It's really a great place to stay if you want a little privacy and to stay outside of town but close enough. That Black mountain is a nice day trip and fun fun

It was very nice. Went to Lake Lure to see the damaged and support business. Came for a fky fishing event at Wrong Way lodge.

The host Valerie was amazing and extremely kind. The property was perfect for my husband and I and our dogs. Stargazing here was AMAZING. Your are close enough to downtown to catch a tour or dinner but just the right distance away to enjoy the serenity of the area.

Valerie was a welcoming host! The house is in a great location for exploring state parks and cute mountain towns. We also enjoyed using the fire pit in the fenced in backyard.

Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable, just as we wanted. The house was set up well, especially the kitchen with all the utensils and appliances needed for our stay. Plus we got to explore this area south of I-40 where we’ve never stayed before. Valerie, the owner/host was very attentive.

This was the perfect place for my mom, dog and I to stay for mom’s birthday weekend! The fenced in yard was great for my dog and we had a great experience. Great location away from the city and close to great hikes. House was perfect for my significant other and our two dogs.

Host was very accomadating and helpful ! Was awesome with communication. Was perfect for two of us and our three friendly dogs. Was even dog snacks out when we arrived after 6 hour trip as well as cold bottle water in the frig and AC was on and welcoming . Thank you !

We loved our stay here. Valerie was very friendly and inviting. If you're looking for a place to stay with pets near Asheville this is it. The small house was perfect with it being fenced in for animals.

The perfect getaway! I was concerned booking a pet-friendly location as we don't have dogs but believe me when I say you would never know dogs had ever been there. So clean it was immaculate! And the bed and pillows were so comfortable it was hard to leave. My husband usually has a hard time sleeping in a new place but not here! Couldn't have asked for a better hostess, a cleaner spot, or a more comfortable place to sleep!!!

The host was very helpful leading up to and throughout the stay. She gave us recommendations on restaurants and activities that we enjoyed. She also went above and beyond being thoughtful with prepping the house for our stay, particularly for our toddler. We would definitely stay here again!
