Stayed Nov 3, 2025Very friendly staff. Basic facilities but fine for an overnight stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I would be very happy to stay here again

Stayed Oct 21, 2025upon arrival I was given a thorough tour of the place, with clear instructions about access and alarms and exiting. Room was great, comfy bed. Food in bar was top notch and they had a wide provision for gluten free options - which I needed. All the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and obviously enjoyed being there. Being an 'Olde' pub gave it enormous character, which I loved. Easy walking distance from all of Birmingham's transport hubs. Would definitely go back there!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Pub was busy with a quiz night. Building is old and interesting. Room was small but I didn't need anything bigger. Food and service was good.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I chose The Old Crown for its location - I'm a Birmingham City fan. I had a great night despite City only getting a draw!
