Stayed Sep 25, 2025Angela and her family were amazing hosts. The schoolhouse is beautifully remodeled. It was by far the nicest rental home. It provided a wonderful, peaceful, and quiet place to stay while we were in the Gillette area.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025Excellent stay for my kids and I as we visited Gillette. It is a bit outside the city but for us that was intentional!! Close to the city Rec center which was also exceptional!! Plenty of room for larger families and quiet!! Overall was fantastic!!

Stayed Jul 17, 2025The Schoolhouse was exactly what our family needed. It was the relaxing stay we were expecting, and more. The host and her family was absolutely amazing! Having horses, dogs, and goats right outside the window was an added bonus we didn’t know we needed. We will be returning!

Stayed Oct 11, 2024The Schoolhouse was the perfect place to stay when visiting Gillette. It is conveniently located ten miles south of town. The property is updated from top to bottom, adorably decorated, comfortable bedding, plenty of space for everyone, and located on a ranch with stunning horses. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Stayed Oct 4, 2024The School House is an excellent western getaway for the family or perfect location for a base camp for a hunt. This is a newly renovated school house where there was excellent attention to detail, wonder finishings and fantastic views! I highly recommend this location! Owners are incredible with communication!
