Quiet Guest Suite

My daughter and I attended a family reunion in nearby Hastings over the August 3-4 weekend. Ms Betty met us as we arrived. She was awesome. Very welcoming and a reminder of why I am a fan of rural Minnesota. The suite was very clean and had everything we needed. The location (rolling hills, woods and farmland) was a nice getaway from the craziness of the big cities. We traveled to Hastings (5 miles) and Prescott WI (3 miles). The Twin Cities are within 25 miles. To sum it up it was a great stay and we'll definitely do it again.

Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Also good restaurants are close by… highly recommend.

Perfect for a weekend with friends!

We stayed for 3 days. The property is in a quiet rural area and very clean. The spacious room is attached to the owner's house but is still private and quiet. The double bed is very comfortable. The only issue someone might have is that I have ATT and I couldn't make or receive calls in that area. Texting and internet seemed to work ok on the wireless network. There is Netflix on the TV which worked great. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

My friend & I spent a wonderful long weekend in this tranquil escape from everyday life! It was so quiet & included all of the pleasantness of being in the countryside. At the same time we were a short drive from all of the modern conveniences. Truly, it was the best of both! Betty is a delightful host, the accommodations were very clean & comfortable & met all of our needs. We are so grateful this VRBO exceeded our expectations! Thanks Betty!

Betty and Ed were wonderful hosts. The suite was Accessible, very clean with non chemical cleaners which was truly appreciated by me ❤️. Many thoughtful touches Like coffee and soap and shampoo provided. I’m a bath person and loved that there was a bath shower combo. It was comfortable and had everything a person could need. Thank you! I’ll be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the unit. The owners were especially kind to our granddaughter, sharing their own grandchildren's motorized vehicles.

This is my second stay at this property. I love the layout of the apartment, ample room to use the kitchen area and still cozy but not crowded. There are windows on three sides and the view of the surrounding woods and farm yard is restful to me. Gravel road and longish driveway gives one the feeling of seclusion, but it isn't really isolated. I hope to go there again.

My sister and I traveled to Hastings for our sister's memorial service. Our host Betty was incredibly kind, the cozy space was immaculate, it was quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. Wonderful host and space! Even a washer and dryer so we could do a little laundry before we headed back from an emotionally draining trip. Each night my sister and I told each other how glad I chose this place. Easy access, it's all good at Betty's. Thank you for everything Betty, your kindness and hospitality will not be forgotten anytime soon. ♡
