Queen Beds at The Suites@MrGroupers

We had a wonderful stay at the Suites at Mr. Grouper’s with our family of four and would absolutely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place made our Turks and Caicos trip extra special.The location is truly unbeatable. Being right next to the Fish Fry was a huge highlight — we could see all the festivities, music, and energy right from our second-floor balcony, which was such a fun experience for both adults and kids. You really can’t get a better spot for enjoying local culture.The suite itself exceeded our expectations. It was the most spacious accommodation we’ve ever had as a family, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity you could possibly need. It was comfortable, functional, and felt like a home away from home.We did experience a couple of minor plumbing hiccups, but they were handled promptly and professionally and did not take away from the overall experience at all.Service was great throughout our stay, and the food at Mr. Grouper’s restaurant was absolutely amazing — some of the best meals we had on the island. Having such an outstanding restaurant right downstairs was a huge plus.Overall, this was an excellent stay in an amazing location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Turks and Caicos.

1. Ease of access important to you as for me? No elevator. Room on 3rd floor2. Floor was dirty/sticky, we cleaned it3. Wi-Fi did not work 90% of the time; was told was like that all over island. False. Had to use my paid Esim data in room4. Towels available upon request, per Welcome Info is false. 2 of us for 2 day stay, only 1 big towel. First told we would get another, then told it was policy we had to hand 1 in to get 1, which would still leave 1! Finally given for last night after objection5. Broken bathroom/half missing towel rack (pics). Wrong sized, cheap, sliding, very loose uncomfortable toilet seat (pics). Both of us are in shape. Things not fixed as promised. Door stop in dangerous place on floor by shower (pic), one of us hurt foot, hair dryer attachments don't fit6. TV only works with certain streaming services - did not have, so no cable (as said), no local weather, etc. So, no TV(7. First night Thursday, super loud live music next to bldg, ending much later than should have been.)Other reviews nice, so what happened? Why were two highly educated, older, clean-cut professionals so disrespected, beginning with being given a sort-of maintained suite? Aberration? We felt Suites cared more about other guests, than if we received value.2 stars, not 1, because a few days before our stay, the manager, eliminated a reservation worry, while at the same time, whether she knew it or not, imparted a very valuable revelation.Treat ALL your guests with respect.

Clean, friendly, excellent location

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The room and everything in it was very clean. Easy check in process along with early check in. Nice pool area and good restaurant on site. Balcony view of the famous Thursday fish fry! Highly recommend staying here

Pretty good location, food was very good, service was good, overall great experience

I really loved it. The safe was really nice and the food at the restaurant was amazing. Convenient well known location.

Our family stayed here over the Christmas Holiday and it was the perfect place away from those expensive resorts. The hotel room was large, clean and we had everything we needed (iron, dresser under beds, toilettrees, sink, refrigerator, balcony, etc.) The pool on the rooftop the kids really enoyed. We never saw any other guest there. The restaurant was the best part. Food is delicous and ambiance is great. Staff is very friendly. Lots of ppl coming from all over the island to eat there. Loved that the Thursday fish fry is held right outside property. We were able to easilty rent a car with the store/front desk here. She also coordinated ATV rides for us. Overall we would stay here again. It was close enough to the beach as well. Less then 10 minute walk from Grace Bay beach.

It was exactly what we anticipated. The best part was Ms. Sabrina at front desk! She was super kind, incredibly helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable! The room was exactly what was described and shown online! The restaurant was definitely a local and a tourist spot with fabulous drinks, food and service! The walk to beach is not long or strenuous but it is a few blocks away (7 minute walk). The shops and restaurants were a good 20 minute walk but had sidewalks and all flat terrain. The pool on the roof is open 24 hrs and never crowded while we were there. The pool area has patio furniture and lounge chairs but basic. There was no music, the strings of lights were disheveled and no bathroom but still enjoyed it. All in all great place to stay:) just remember it’s not a fancy resort, it’s a hotel with really nice amenities

Good location for fish fry and about 10-15min walk from the beach. Good security and car parking. Room AC works well. Rooftop pool overlooks grace bay for good sunset views.
