Your host has always received high praise for her attentiveness to her valued customers. Have questions She will get back to you just as soon as she feeds the horses, attends to the sheltie puppies, throws a bit of corn out for the mama deer and her fawn, as well as fill the hummingbird feeders. Expect to keep this place on your list for return visits--you will love it!!
The property was beautiful and the house was spotless and very nice. I would give it an excellent all around except for no blinds or curtains on the windows. The sun rises into the windows in the morning. The bedroom windows had curtains but they need room darkening curtains, because it was so bright. And if anyone sleeps on the couch, It's like a spotlight on you at 6:00 in the morning. I think if the owner made an investment in those 2 things, it would be perfect. Our host was away on a trip herself, but a family member took care of us and he was more then accommodating!
This was a home away from home, clean, comfortable, quiet country living close to activities. We enjoyed the trails, the animals wild and domestic. You'll enjoy every minute of your stay.
Property was more than expected, could have stayed on for much longer. Host, Bronwyn was extremely gracious and even provided treats for the troupe of Shelties that greeted you and the Palomino horses in the stable. Would definitely reserve again.
Quiet poeceful stay.
A spacious, comfortable quiet serene country setting. Just as described. Cute welcoming committee; special sundown visitors. Lots of room to roam. Beautiful sunrises and millions of stars! Loved our stay....would recommend for your stay also.
Was a great place to stay.Host was awesome ,very helpful and very friendly like she new you.Loved everything the home all the animals and the property.Seen lots of wildlife. Was not far from town and Activities. We will definitely come and stay Agian .Thank you so much Bronwyn.
My family and I stayed here while in town for my kids mountain bikes races- what a great find! My daughter absolutely loved going to visit the horses and feed them carrots 2-3x a day and the boys loved all the space to roam. We went for an evening walk and were followed around by 4 young cows and had so much fun. The house has a comfortable bed, large shower, spacious living room and full kitchen. We made all our meals and used the grill. I loved all the morning light coming in. Thank you so much, Brownyn!
This place was very nice. Great to see the deer and birds just out the window. Close to town but far enough away to not feel like I'm town. Enjoyed seeing the horses and owners dogs as well.
I was in the area to handle business with loved ones. The town is in the country and offers little in the way of comfortable places with all the conveniences of home. This place made you feel comfortable and exponentially raised the bar. The cutest little collies greet you upon arrival and departure. The owner was kind enough to provide treats which they take graciously. Additionally, the property has horses which the owner once more provided treats to socialize with the animals and help enjoy the beauty this place has to offer. As if these two ambassadors weren't enough, bird feeders outside offered the opportunity to see multiple species of birds. In the morning, cows from the neighboring lot grazed close enough to see on the way out and in the evening the deer grazed right in front of the home. Inside, books galore on multiple topics are available to peruse. The kitchen boasts a full complement of appliances, utensils, and cookware to make a nice meal. The living room, bedroom, and bathroom are spacious and well stocked with supplies for the shower. Finally, if you choose to make the most of the outdoors, the host has provided comfortable chairs, a fire pit, and games to enjoy. They even provided three options of walking path that range from a short stroll to a nice long walk without needing to leave the property. I would definitely check availability in the future should the need for future stays arise.
This was a nice getaway for our anniversary. We enjoyed feeding the horses and walking around the property. The suite was nice and roomy and was a good fit for just hanging out together. The full kitchen was great! It was fun watching the birds at the feeder and seeing the deer approach in the evenings through the huge picture windows all along the one side. Bronwyn was very sweet to work with and gave us complete privacy. The only suggestion we have is possibly putting a curtain in the bedroom window. It's not really essential for privacy but would be helpful in the morning for days you might want to sleep in.
Easy to find just outside if town. Trails for walking, horses and fenced dogs for petting. Saw the stars without any light pollution from nearby town - more stars than I have seen in years! No noise from emergency vehicles, helicopters or airlines!
We had a wonderful stay at Bronwyn’s home. The rental was exactly as listed and the house was very clean. We enjoyed the vast property with pasture walks, feeding the horses + dogs, and watching the birds! The kitchen was fully stocked and we used the propane grill for dinner one evening. Bronwyn met up with us for check-in and suggested some outdoor activities nearby (we rented kayaks on the Muskegon River!). We would definitely recommend this rental if you’re looking for a quiet, clean, nature-filled getaway!
Great place to kick back and relax for a week. Definitely recommend and hope to go back!
