A lovely getaway at the Milk Barn — truly a small slice of heaven! We were in Auburn for a wedding and, in a pinch, needed to bring our dogs along. Thankfully, this stay could not have worked out better. Our dogs had just as much fun as we did!The home was thoughtfully stocked with all the little things travelers often forget, which made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free.The host was incredibly accommodating, reliable, and available whenever we needed anything at all.We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in the Auburn area. Highly recommend!

This space was an absolute dream come true!!! My family and I stopped here on the way from Houston, and the cozy, welcoming environment and secluded location was PERFECT! Our dogs absolutely loved the yard, and the home was so pet-friendly. I wish I was driving through Auburn again just so I could stay here.

One the absolute coolest VRBO’s I’ve stayed in. Slept so well and my pups enjoyed the outdoor area. Fun decor, comfortable beds, peaceful, quiet and one of my fav places to stay. Plan to return soon

Where do I start? I’m a sucker for rustic, cozy, country, homebody vibes, and this beautiful place checked every box. The loft was awesome for my son, who loved having his own privacy instead of sleeping next to mom as a preteen lol. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed.The outside of the property was absolutely beautiful, and my dogs loved it too. Since it was rainy and cold, we left the doors open so we could listen to the rain while the dogs went in and out freely. The fenced yard kept my dogs secure, which gave me peace of mind.The owner was incredibly responsive and kind. When we thought we had misplaced the house keys and accidentally locked ourselves out, she literally left her job to come help us without hesitation. If I could give her a 10 out of 5, I absolutely would.The home comfortably fit my whole family of 7 if all of us would have come to the trip, and if we come back into town for another soccer tournament, we will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the Milk Barn several times and have loved each stay. From the wonderful communication from Wales to the clean and accommodating house everything creates a perfect stay. Our dogs love running in the fenced in yard and Wayles thinks of every detail to created a great visit for guests.

Pet friendly, pictures are accurate of the property, little touches & thoughtful needed items handy. Would like to stay again! Prompt communication, easy to check in & out.

The Milk Barn is a beautiful, quite place. My family loved it all! The kiddos enjoyed the loft. The couches are perfect to lounge in and watch tv. The owner has thought of everything that you may need. Well stocked kitchen, large bathroom. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area and it is available! 10/10

My boyfriend and I loved it here! We forgot about the time change and we were able to get in early. Place was adorable and has a lot of entertainment between Blu-rays, Wii games, family games. We absolutely loved the bathtub and the rustic appeal of the place. We will definitely be coming back!

The Milk Barn was exactly what we needed to have a comfortable stay and wonderful place for our doggies. Very welcoming and stocked with all we could hope for!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The Milkbarn is such a cute, cozy place. There was coffee and all the fixings. Everything was very, very clean. The beds were comfy. The yard was huge and fenced so our doggies enjoyed playing safely back there. Our college kids came by in the evenings, and we had some fun competing on the Wii. We highly recommend the Milkbarn and will be checking back in to see if we can stay again.

The best and most gracious host in the business! Every detailed amenity has been well thought out from back-up toothbrush to coffee creamer. Fully decked out kitchen with utensils. Nice, quiet country setting. Yet 15 quick minutes to Jordan-Hare Stadium. This can be your home away from home when visiting Auburn. Very cozy, very nice, very gracious and friendly host!

We love staying at the Milk Barn. Wayles is an amazing host. Wayles makes sure everything is ready for your stay and her attention to detail makes staying at the Milk Barn fabulous.

I really enjoyed my stay at the farmhouse especially being able to vacation and bring my five dachshunds with me. Probably 99% of VRBO owners would not allow five dogs and Wayles was very accommodating. I appreciated the attention to detail and provided everything that I could have needed while on vacation – from make up remover to a toothbrush to Keurig coffee pods. I also appreciated the Christmas gift basket she left me and extra towels for my pups!. Would definitely stay there again.

10/10 Recommend! The host was so very accommodating and hospitable! Close to campus and the perfect place to relax and unwind! It was so clean and fully stocked with all the things you could need! We came to celebrate our son's graduation from Auburn and it was the perfect place to host family to celebrate!

Quaint, Cozy, and Very Well-Stocked!We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. It’s quaint, cozy, and had everything we needed—clearly very well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We only wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities!The location is great! It is close enough to Auburn University to make getting around easy, but far enough to avoid the crowds if you prefer a quieter stay.The only downside was the bathroom setup. There isn’t a traditional stand-up shower or a tub with a full surround/curtain, so it was a bit tricky to keep water from spraying onto the floor.Overall, a lovely spot and a great place to stay near Auburn!

Super cute place! The host has thought of everything. Even had a diffuser attachment for the hairdryer which never happens. We would definitely stay here again.

From beginning to end this stay was amazing. The owner worked to accommodate our needs and made the booking process seamless. They communicated and were very thorough. Upon arrival, everything was absolutely perfect. They had everything ready for our stay and had ensured that the property was comfortable upon our arrival. Everything we needed and more was provided to make our stay pleasurable. We loved being able to let our furbabies out to stretch their legs. Perfect location, clean, was great for our short weekend

The CUTEST VRBO that is conveniently located near Waverly and Auburn. The owners go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and worry free. The icing on the cake is that our dogs are welcome with a huge yard. We all loved looking at the stars last night. We hope to come back soon!

“Extraordinary Friends” coming from GA and AL met here to celebrate one of our friends turning 65. The milk barn was the perfect spot for us to hang out and visit with one another. What a cozy and cute place! We all slept so well last night and enjoyed coffee on the deck this morning. The host was so easy to communicate with and left such thoughtful details and extras throughout the house. We’ll be back!

Beautiful place, not really for us as we are old and I snore, but perfect for a family of an Auburn student. Fenced yard is big enough for a viszla to run. Close enough to town yet feels rural

This is a wonderful place to stay!! The unit has a quiet country charm and has everything you could think of for a great visit. There is a big, beautiful yard if you’re traveling with pets. Very nicely done!!

Milk Barn is a charming guest house, outfitted with every convenience a guest could want or need! The ambiance is warm, welcoming, artsy and like home. My husband and I, and our pug Sammie stayed here this past weekend while attending our oldest son's graduation from Auburn University. Wayles is excellent at communicating, check-in and check-out were a breeze, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to others.

We had a mixup in booking that was 100% my fault, but our host was able to accommodate us, which she completely didn’t have to do. I can’t express how much it means to me that she was super responsive and accommodating! The place was peaceful and perfect, and it’s apparent how much time and energy was put into making this place feel like home. We definitely plan on booking again. My only complaint is that I didn’t get to stay long enough!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Cozy decor, full kitchen, everything was spotless! The Milk Barn was a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend. The owner was very accommodating and communication was exceptional. We look forward to staying again.

We were in Auburn overnight for business traveling with 7 dogs. This place was perfect! Fenced in yard, quiet and peaceful.

The Milk Barn is such a great property! It’s a perfect place to get away and unwind. Whales has thought of every way to make her guests feel comfortable and at home. Our boys (Havanese) travel with us everywhere so a space which accommodates them is very important to us. It was perfect-a huge fully fenced-in yard made for a worry-free stay for them as well! We loved the decor and personal touches! Thank you for sharing your guest home!

What a great property! We really enjoyed our stay. The host even had suggestions for places to eat. We chose one and it was marvelous. Would stay there again.

Wow!!! Couldn’t ask for better host! The guest house is really nice, it was warm and inviting from the moment I stepped in. The yard is great for the pups and it’s fenced. After being in the car all day, they were able to run around leash free! I only wish I was staying longer and not just going through. The home is stocked coffee and hot chocolate with nice recommendations through the house. What an incredibly thoughtful and clean host. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You need to stay just for the experience.

We were visiting family in Auburn and stayed two nights. The Milk Barn was perfect. We loved the artistic flair of the property!

The home was very comfortable for me, my husband, my mother and my adult Daughters! We had to have our first Thanksgiving away from home to see my son play in the Turkey Classic. We were only 15 minutes from Tuskegee University. The cabin came with all the amenities needed for our stay we only bought food. It was cold during our stay but the home had many blankets. We will be back within our family.

This was a great place to stay for an Auburn game. The house was clean, well stocked, and in a great location.

My stay was fantastic. Loved it from the start.The Milk Barn is eclectic…. Charming g as can be. My Golden had a blast roaming in the large fenced yard. I fell in love with AL and the Milk Barn. My host was really great answering All my questions. Very accommodating .Wish I could have had more time there.

This eclectic property is one of our very favorites having stayed there several times on cross country trips with our dogs. (They love it too for the large fenced yard.) It's not for everyone. There's no dishwasher, disposal, or walk-in shower. But it has character galore, good beds and pillows, a roomy well equipped kitchen and is just very cool. We'll be back!

This beautiful and cozy farmhouse was perfect for our little family getaway. The kitchen is big and beautiful and fully stocked including thoughtful touches for guest. The beds and couches are comfortable. Our children absolutely loved the claw foot bathtub, the Wii, the loft and the beautiful yard! Owners we fabulous! 10/10 would recommend.

This place was perfect! Plenty of room for the four of us, and our dogs really enjoyed the large fenced yard. It was an easy drive to downtown Auburn.

We were very comfortable during our stay! We enjoyed being away from the Auburn University gameday crowds but close enough to visit our kids on campus. The host provided everything to make our stay comfortable...coffee, filtered water pitcher, toiletries, nice bedding and thick towels. The wonderful sound of the rain on the tin roof was a bonus!
