What a gem of property tucked in the woods! The 2 story apartment was fully stocked, clean and very comfortable. The layout of the guest suite, completely separate from the main residence, allowed for privacy and a relaxing getaway! Nate and Julie have made every effort to make sure your stay is perfect and hassle free. Will be back again as family lives in downtown Canton. Cheryl and Art
I was enjoyed staying at this property. It's very quiet and just peaceful in general. The homeowners have always been amazing very courteous and if you ever need anything you're always like it. Definitely respect for a nice little getaway to get some peace and quiet.
Beautiful home to stay in and just relax unwind and have some time for yourself or time together. The owners are amazing and very attentive, the living quarters were very clean and cozy. Definitely recommend even if it's just for a weekend getaway
Sent email to get check in info night before stay that was never answered. Vrbo kept sending me messages that the property was ready and my reservation was coming up. Arrived at property hour and half after check-in time to find doors locker and no one there. Couldn’t reach owners through link in app. Called Vrbo and after 20 min they reached the owner. He had forgotten about our paid overnight stay. They were 30 min away and needed an additional 30 minutes once they arrived to clean the space before we could go inside. That would mean a 6pm entrance to a space we already paid for with groceries going bad in our car. No!! We asked for and received a full refund. To their credit, the owner did send an apology through the app but it didn’t change the situation for my daughter and i. Luckily we lived close enough to drive home before it was too late at night to eat dinner at 9pm. Additionally, even though we only saw the property from the exterior, I was surprised but it looked like when we drove up. It looked much different from the online photos that showed an exterior independent entrance to the rooms we rented. Instead, it was a main entrance to a house that lead to a door in the home and a staircase. In the end, the sound of a very large angry dog on the other side of the door made me glad we were not able to get through the locked door. Last, it’s a pretty narrow driveway that had guess parking on a added asphalt space that sticks out over an edge to a creek. Didn’t feel very secure or safe if we happened to need something from the car later that night. Sadly, Would not recommend staying at this property
The unit was not even dusted, cob webs hanging off of pellet stove in bedroom. Three Electric heating units would not continually heat unless the owner did it remotely with his phone app. Entry stairway was very dirty with dead bugs and cob webs around sidelights of front door. The owner did help get the heat going and help with the pellet stove start-up after a very chilly night in the unit. Good thing for blankets. We realize it’s in the woods and secluded, but it really should be much cleaner. TV room was cozy and worked well but we could not find how to access regular TV channels. We presumed we could not. No instructions provided by owner. If your looking for good cell service you will not be happy, owners WIFI was ok but router must be in his house next to rental and signal is sketchy sometimes too.
Nate, the host was very communicative, the property was great, had awesome views. Overall no complaints.
A wonderful hideaway nestled in the CT mountains and still close enough to enjoy all that the area has to offer! We throughly enjoyed the peace & quite that this VRBO offered!
This was such a wonderful stay. The space is well equipped and nicely decorated, and I absolutely love the way the sun comes into the bedroom windows. Serene and sweet! Beautiful hiking right out the door too.
My friend and I met at this cozy place because it was halfway between New York City and Boston. The wood pellet stove is a fun addition and the hosts were very accommodating!
