Stayed Jul 15, 2022Very clean and well-stocked with many personal touches. Having access to the water toys was an extra amenity that we enjoyed so much. Mac and Belinda were gracious and friendly hosts. We highly recommend this property.

Stayed Jul 12, 2022This is not a lake property. It is a property relatively close to a lake. There is NO lake view, but the photos & listing certainly imply that there is. The only view you have from your balcony is of the owner’s house. You cannot see the lake at all. This is not a Vacation Rental, but a B&B. The owner, while nice, lives on the property. You do not have direct lake access. You have to go in the owners back yard & share the lake with them & their 2 dogs - one of which “will probably lick you and the other will nip at you” according to the owner. Instead of getting keys/code we were contacted by the owner to see when we would be at their place so he could meet us because he had a dentist appointment. We were awakened each morning by the owner opening the garage below us. To be fair, the pics of the actual living quarters interior are accurate. It is very nice inside & well appointed. If you are looking for a B&B, this is a nice place. However, if you are looking for a vacation rental with some degree of privacy & your own lake access, this ain’t it! We needed a getaway from people for a few days & were sorely disappointed. We would have had much better lake access for about 1/2 the price by staying at the Hilton in town. Please remove this listing from VRBO, as it is not that.

Stayed Jun 9, 2022Our stay at Bent Oaks Treehouse was wonderful from beginning to end. Our hosts were very generous and accommodating. The property was a sanctuary away from the daily busy routine. We enjoyed the time there playing in the lake with our granddaughters. They had a blast!

Stayed May 28, 2022Very Enjoyable. Comfortable seating on boat dock at back of house with great views of the lake and sunset. The space is relatively new construction with nice features. Hosts were friendly and very helpful! Would definitely stay again.
