Stayed Sep 16, 2025Loved the yard, the firepit, the pond ! The breakfast spread was impressive and surprised me! This house is full of antiques, it was like stepping back in tine. When wandering the property there were more items to see...I think that was a thresher?! I spent some time ogling that captured German gun too. I was hoping for more wildlife, but did see an eagle. The steel mill was making noise which was a disappointment...I was hoping for a quiet stay. The bed was comfy, the screen porch was my favorite place to relax. The hosts are terrific and you can see how much they love this property! Recommend for family with kids around 10...badminton and horseshoes!! The river was another bonus...watching the geese was a nice way to spend some time!

Stayed Aug 27, 2025What a trip back in time! Such a fun stay for children (and adult) history buffs. As long as you’re comfortable with the quirks of a 170 year old house, you’ll absolutely love it.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025The hosts are wonderful. I loved the historical aspect that is honored at the Bunn House. I have emphysema that responded to the mustiness . I do not think anyone else reacted like I did so it is probably it a concern for most people. I recommend this stay for most folks with the caveat that people with COPD may be affected .

Stayed Jul 16, 2025Great location, only 5 minutes from Selkirk. Lots of room, great yard, a very interesting property with great hosts. Extra special touch was the gluten free cookies and brownies for our grandson.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Time travel escape from reality, super friendly and helpful host, easy drive from Winnipeg, comfy and fresh clean beds and pillows, hot water with good stream in the shower, good supplies for the breakfast.Smell of ages at the entrance, but bearable (house is almost 200 year old). Recommend.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024A very unique and beautiful place to stay. Like staying in a museum where you can touch everything. Hosted a family dinner here. We were 12 people in the historic dining room. Grateful to have been able to stay at this property. Would recomend.
