Forestlane Cottage 2

Wonderful time in this fairytale cottage! Sitting by the fire, watching it snow and the birds enjoying the snowfall! Vanessa and Rob are very accepting and helpful! It was a great time!

I dreamed of a cabin in the woods and this fit perfectly!! The cottage is just the right distance from town. It is close enough to go visit and find what I need! I stayed over a month and Vanessa and Rob were very accommodating hosts! If I needed anything they had it ready for me. When I arrived there was a fire going in the gas fireplace. The place was clean and ready for new guests. I loved having a washer and dryer in unit. I felt safe and comfortable! In fact, I am returning in a couple of weeks and staying here. I was here to see leaves turning and hopefully there will be snow when I come again.

We really enjoyed staying in this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, fully stocked cottage. The hosts paid attention to the little details like providing coffee and tea, plenty of extra towels, hand soap, etc. We especially appreciated having the full sized washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets available for us to use. Checkin was easy and the hosts made sure that we had everything we needed. We were only there two nights but wish we could have stayed longer.

This little piece of Palmer is just heaven on Earth!! Bungalow was very nice and so clean!!The view from our window was literally picture perfect. A lovely serene place to come “home” to after long days of hiking and exploring. Yvonne was a gracious host and checked on us many times. We ended up here due to a booking issue with another VRBO owner and Yvonne came to our rescue by offering us a stay at her beautiful property. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return one day if we’re lucky enough to visit Alaska again.

Great little place. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Conveniently located while still providing that private Alaskan cabin feeling. 10/10 would recommend.

Very charming property. Extremely clean. Well stocked kitchen for cooking for two. Great directions. Secluded and quiet location but with easy access to town and hiking options. Laundry was great. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

I loved that the bedroom and living area had separate heating sources, we like a cool bedroom. Attention to detail was top notch with fluffy towels to coffee pods, cider & filtered water. We requested sheets and towels to be washed in non-fragrance detergent, which was not an issue. Very private and cozy cottage. If ever back in Palmer I’d stay again.

Nice place and private location. Well stocked and clean. Shower water pressure was disappointingly light.

I was only in town for a couple of days to attend a wedding, but this cottage was fantastic!! It was very comfortable, clean, and private. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Palmer!

This was the very best place we have ever stayed. This is a well built cabin with extra nice interior. It was close to attractions, but gave us a quiet place to come back to at the end of the day. Plenty of room for 2 people so that you’re not underfoot all day. I don’t rate many things, but this cabin really impressed us.

Great stay! Wonderfully quiet and quaint place. Perfect for a solo traveler. Communication with hosts was super helpful! Would recommend, for sure!

Comfortable, relaxing cabin

Beautiful cabin tucked into the woods. Very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Peaceful and quiet. Would recommend. Wish we had more time there. And visit the musk ox farm only a few minutes away if you have time
