FONTANA ~ Adults Only, Poolside King Room at Azul Mansion!

Lovely little property with a pool. Rooms are somewhat on the small side, but they are very comfortable and clean. Perfect for a couple. Remember that you are in a warm place so you don't need to overpack. We stayed there for 5 days snd only saw a couple of guest in tue pool. Truly quiet and enjoyable. Just be aware that around 6:30 the roosters beging to wake everyone up. Enjoy.

Not bad comfortable room was a little smaller then expected bathroom was clean no daily maid cleaning there is a service charge for cleaning though ?? Pool area looks rundown cleaning required probably i didnt use the pool anyway overall property was somwhat quiet other then person upstairs was not considerate to other i would recommend this property.

Liked: Good condition and appearance of property in historic district, on-site pool, maid service. Easy check-in and -out. Concierge service included. Disliked: Small room, no closet or safe. No place to sit in room. Limited parking on-site.

The property is very nice, the common areas are terrific. The pool is well maintained and very refreshing. Location-wise, it’s a moderately long walk to Duval, but not strenuous. Not much in the way of stores for staples, a CVS a few blocks down Truman will have to do, so if you’re without a car, like I was, that may be an issue. (There IS a nearby liquor store.) The place is clean and well maintained, beach and regular towels are abundantly available. I did not opt for daily housekeeping, which I think is available for an up-charge, so I can’t comment on that feature. An abundant supply of K-cups and coffee creamers are available in the shared kitchen. The water and ice machines near the pool work very well and are a nice feature. The only downside, to me, was the size of the room itself. A bit snug, no room for a chair. And the bathroom was also a little “close-fitting,” for someone of a “full” size, such as myself. But you’re mostly not going to be in the room too much, there’s so much to do, or you’ll be relaxing by the pool. Overall I highly recommend this place!

Charming private boutique hotel. Access to the big kitchen was the BEST.

The title said With Parking upon arrival the tiny parking lot was full. After calling the virtual inkeeper it turns out that wasn't true. I was told to park on the street across from the hotel. These spots were never open during our entire stay. I see now that they have updated the listing. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience.

The poolside room was great and offered easy access to the clean heated pool. The location was perfect, and the main house gave us plenty of space to cook, handle a work emergency, or just relax. Check in and check out were easy, and all of our questions were handled immediately. And when I discovered I left an item behind, Dwell quickly worked with me to get it returned. A great experience!

Everything was very good- didn’t expect the room to be so small but it worked. Value is good compared to everything else here being so expensive. We would definitely come back

Beautiful property and walking/biking distance to just about everything. Mark, the host, was super friendly and helpful. The pool was warm and kept clean. The room itself was a little tight for a 9-day stay.

The room was much smaller than expected but I put on myself for not noticing the sq footage. But the weather had taken a turn to extreme temperatures and wind and there was not any heat available. No space heaters or anything and when I texted them they just said could control the weather and we r a tropical local. We froze all night. Dreadful. But the place was clean and would have been better with warmer weather. Just bad luck

The quality of our room was great! We have stayed at high end hotels with less concern for the visiting guests. Everything was as promised and we brought our electric bikes to hit all our planned destinations on the Key. You made our 25th anniversary that much more special! Many thanks for the memories….

The room was tight for all of our stuff and us but well decorated and had everything we could need. The bed was super comfortable. We didn't spend much time there - there is so much to do! We walked everywhere in Olde Town. We did use the pool our first night there. Sorry we didn't have time to enjoy it more.

We loved everything about Azul! It was exactly as pictured, clean and the description was spot on. The pool was big enough and well maintained. Our bed was super comfortable and our room had everything we needed. I can’t say enough about our host, Liz. To say she was amazing doesn’t say enough. She made sure we were well taken care of and responded to any inquiries we made within minutes. We only had contact with Dan once but we’re also impressed with his customer service skills. He was very kind and considerate. If you are traveling to Key West this is where you need to stay. The house is beautifully kept.

We absolutely loved our stay at Azul! It's in a very cool old mansion conveniently located in Old Town. The restored and well kept common areas add to the ambiance. Although the room was small by modern hotel standards, it was plenty big enough for the 2 of us. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was well appointed with a dresser, 2 night stands, a mini fridge and places to hang clothes. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and beach towels were even provided. There was a water cooler next to the ice machine that we used often! The pool was well maintained and made for a nice dip after a long day at the beach. Best of all, the owners (Liz and Dan) and the management company (Dwell Key West) were very responsive to communication! We loved our trip to Key West and are already planning the next one!

We loved the location and ease of coming and going on the rental bikes we procured a short walk away. The kitchen was great for our breakfasts, and the pool and deck were delightful. Our room was quiet and very comfortable.

Stayed in Fontana. Quite s small room but the large common areas nearby made it perfect. Pool, kitchen, large deck area, and 3 large common areas were right outside my door. Staff was always welcoming.

Well managed, clean, some evidence of maintenance needs. No clear direction on how to use the kitchen or rest of the property.

The property is great. Extremely clean. Great checkin as well as out. Great communication with Inn keepers. Little walk to downtown

We had a marvelous stay, the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Only wish we got to sit out at the pool a bit more!

Great location!

We could walk to anywhere within 15 min or so. Room was clean, king bed comfortable but room is tight. Bathroom shower valve leaks and toilet seat is loose. (Fontana room)Water in shower went from ice cold to scalding hot a couple of times for my husband. LOVE that an ice machine and filtered water was available! We will definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: Azul Mansion in Keywest was comfortable but a small room not what I expected room was clean so was the bathroom very important pool was not clean probably pool guys dayoff looked a little dated no matter I didn't use it there is a full kitchen and fridge and microwave over stove also there was an outside grill not bad there is parking not very many spaces one was wheelchair a plus other then notice from person staying above us who heavy walking I would recommend,I wish since it is adults only that it would be a B&B and have Beer and Wine day just a suggestion overall my stay was pleasant.
