Stayed Feb 21, 2026Friendly staff. We were allowed to drop off our suitcases early because we were attending a football match. After the match, check-in was very smooth. We were also allowed to leave our suitcases for free after check-out and pick them up later. Beautiful old inn with a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink after your return in the evening.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Staff were excellent, room was amazing - I so enjoyed how obviously historical the building was. Floors and stairs are a bit uneven, so not for people with limited mobility.

Stayed May 14, 2024Called prior to staying and found management very helpful. Checked in and was given key and instructions how to enter property outside hours etc. It was a short taxi ride to our venue. Or about 25 min walk. Only one thing to mention, the towels were like cardboard. But otherwise very good.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969As a Canadian band that stays many hotels in a year, the Olde Crown offers a really memorable experience. Being the oldest Inn in Birmingham the slanted floors, old skeleton key and creaky floors added to the excitement we had staying in such a historic place. This can't be said for many hotels but here it works. Excellent staff and delicious food at the pub downstairs.
