Beautiful manor house run as chambres d'hote by a friendly and welcoming owner. If you let her know when you expect to arrive, you will be met at the car park by her with a golf buggy to transfer your luggage to your accommodation. The room was beautifully fitted out and had many nice touches, such as a carafe of water in the room on arrival, UK-Eur plug adaptors in the room and local information in the room and also in the communal sitting room. The house also had a comfortable residents' lounge, a shared kitchen area (where you could prepare and store food you had brought with you) and a terrace with seating. You also get a very good breakfast! We staying in the house but there are extensive grounds where there are a number of lodges of different sizes, each of which appears to have its own hot tub.

We were visiting France to visit the war memorials that were significant to us as Canadians. We stayed at this gem of a Bed and Breakfast and absolutely loved our stay. Our host, Clemence was incredibly helpful with recommendations for local sights and restaurants. Her breakfasts were amazing! Unfortunately, we had to leave exceptionally early on our last morning, but Clemence put together a lovely little “care package” so we would have something to eat when we were on the road. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the French countryside!
