Beautifully clean, lovely decor. Lovely greeting and fabulous breakfast. Loved the room- very well thought out, great tea/ coffee making in the room and a gorgeous shower. Had a lovely quiet sleep on a comfy bed. Lots of parking close by.

The Helaina is spotlessly clean,smells incredible and is run by friendly and efficient staff. Our room was compact but had everything we needed with comfortable pillows and bed. There was plenty to choose from at Breakfast which was served promptly and hot. We tried most options between us and all were delicious. Located opposite the sea with amazing views..a great place to stay for some peace and quiet.

The Helaina is a very nicely decorated and maintained small hotel with a friendly vibe in a good location. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying there again. The lounge with an “honesty bar” is a great idea.

Millie the manager was amazing! Room was clean, breakfast was phenomenal. Only downside was the screeching seagulls, but nothing can be done about that. They do screech quite late and begin at dawn - especially when windows are open. Otherwise room was too warm.

The staff are warm and welcoming. Always smells amazing... the only issues are the parking and the bathrooms needed cleaning better

Everything. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, friendly staff and a great location. Being honest i was pleasantly shocked at how nice this hotel is. I have stayed in a couple of the Hiltons in London over the last few months and they are not a patch on The Helaina. I will be going back to Scarborough and without question i will be at the Helaina.

We love the helaina’s it’s always our 1st choice we usually have an apartment but no surprise they were fully booked. The b&b is 1st class beautifully decorated and maintained, cleanliness is a priority for us so no complaints at all, everything you need is supplied from toiletries to tea/coffee tray. Just quality

made welcome on arrival, we arrived early & was allowed a parking permit. So we didn't have to worry about our car. all the staff were friendly & made us feel comfortable. the room was nicely decorated and clean. the bed & pillows were comfy. really good breakfast. If we ever visit Scarborough again. we would definitely return to the Helaina. It was over looking the sea in a nice quite area.

A very classy, spotlessly clean guesthouse in a great location, overlooking North Bay. Very quiet setting, although so close to the bustling town centre (10 mins). Lovely breakfast and great hosts!

We have stayed a few times now. The rooms are lovely and showers are great. Fantastic choice for breakfast and taste delicious. Welcoming and friendly. Wouldn't stay no where else

Check in was so good, our room was ready over an hour early.We weren't disappointed the room was so nice, bathroom was beautiful too.
