This is a lovely b&b in a great location overlooking the North Bay. We loved our room which was of a very high standard. Staff were friendly and welcoming & breakfasts were delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely Hotel to stay and recharge your batteries. The Helaina is a must for visitors for a relaxing holiday or short break. Comfy clean rooms and fantastic views over the bay. The Staff are really nice and welcoming and so helpful. The Breakfasts are fantastic and set you up for the day. Also the Honesty bar is well stocked so you can have a little tipple in the evening after a long day walking around Scarborough's attractions Enrico looks after you in the morning and welcomes you in on arival👍

Cleanliness, excellent breakfast

Friendly welcome, delicious breakfast and lovely environment.

The first thing you notice is how clean and well decorated it all is.We had upgraded the room and had a bay window with a sea view which was lovely.The breakfast was excellant good quality food cooked well.There was some lovely touches, good quality coffee bags, tea and hot chocolate in the room, the breakfast coffee was really good too.There was a nice lounge with a well stocked honesty bar.The staff were helpfull and friendly,and there was a a very informative information pack in the room.

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with great views, lovely breakfast and very welcoming on arrival definitely deserves the 5 star rating, best B&B in Scarborough.

Lovely clean room, beautiful views, nice breakfast

We had a beautiful room with a stunning view of the coast from our bay window. The hotel and bar is tastefully decorated and scrumptiously clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast delicious with plenty of choice.

We liked everything ,the staff couldn’t do enough for us even helped with luggage .Our room was above expectations so clean and so modern cleaned everyday overlooking the sea which was a bonus ..breakfast was very very good cooked fresh to order,the continental was also good and so fresh the staff again brilliant,. Expained how to get to places and short cuts also restaurants to visit nothing too much trouble even booked taxi for us when going home .will definitely be returning.

Lovely sea view room could have done with 1 floor but only there 2 days

The Helaina is a modern, spotlessly clean hotel with great views over North Bay to the front. Love the bathrobes even though we didn't use them this time. Breakfast is always well cooked and we live the fruit and yoghurt and croissants on offer. Staff always friendly. This is our 3rd visit and wouldn't look anywhere else.

Lovely room with a great sea view great breakfast. Mildly and Enrico are very sociable. The hotel is spotless. We have booked a return visit for next year and would highly recommend the hotel.

We had a comfortable and spacious room with an amazing view of Scarborough bay. The superb breakfast was a highlight of our stay and we were made to feel very welcome. The house was very well decorated and the bar was a welcome addition.

From the warm welcome to the amazing room with a fantastic view, nothing was too much. Breakfast was to die for and couldn’t do enough for myself being gluten intolerant. Will definitely be returning Thankyou so much.

We have stayed at the Helaina many times both in the b and b and the apartments , this time we stayed in the b and b we have a lovely sea view room , the breakfast was made to order and not only really nice quality ingredients but also really filling , staff are really friendly and nothing is to much trouble

We only stayed 3 nights. Picked off the Internet because of the name, my wife is Helen. What a find. Brilliant greeting, excellent Rooms with sea views . Comfy beds ,excellent breakfast. Very clean. There are a couple of small rooms there but the comfort makes up for that. We like 5 star hotels so we were a bit nervous going to a B and B. How pleased we were. The first 5 star B and B we've stayed in. Definitely return. Loved it.

This week was a cheeky little break for us before we go on our Cruise later this year. Jill and Tom are such lovely people and all their staff are so lovely and welcoming too. We always stay here when we visit Scarborough… it’s perfect! 🤩

Room was very modern and well equipped. Location was good to walk to North or South beach/bars attractions etc. plenty of parking, great staff and lots of breakfast choice. Even provided a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary
