Contemporary Guest House--Close In, Great Views

This was such a nice place to stay. It was very private and peaceful. The casita was perfect. Very clean, great views, nice kitchen, bathroom and lounge area. We walked to downtown Santa Fe, did hikes and really enjoyed all that Santa Fe has to offer. Would stay here again.

Great location close to downtown on a quiet road. Hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The guest house was very comfortable but plenty of space for two people. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful views. Easy access to museums and downtown Santa Fe. Comfortable. Gracious on-site hosts. Stove/oven was an ongoing project and a challenge to use.

Intoxicating view from very close to the Museum Hill area of Santa Fe. Detached guest house is quaint, spotlessly clean with plenty of light with seven windows for maximum enjoyment.

Our hosts Gary & Bee were wonderful. Their place was exactly as they listed it. Comfortable, clean, spacious and in a great location for getting around Santa Fe.If we had can questions they would answer right away. They made our first trip to New Mexico a great experience!

Bee and Gary are a delight. I have stayed there 3 different times and always check for availability there before making travel plans to Santa Fe. The casita is spotless, with mountain views, very accessible to Old Santa Fe and museums. Fresh air, peaceful and comfortable.

Gary and Bee made our stay a delight; they are gracious and welcoming. The guest house is immaculate, has everything we need, and is in a perfect location for hiking and museums, plus easy access to downtown.

Great accommodations in quiet neighborhood of Sante Fe. We were able to walk to botanical garden, state Capitol and Canyon shopping area plus do some hiking.

My husband and I needed to get away from it all and Santa Fe did not disappoint. Our first time to stay in SF and Gary’s & Bee’s Guest House was the perfect spot for us. We met both of them during our stay, both expressing that we could contact them for any needs we had (we didn’t have any). You walk by their house to get to the guest house, but still have all the privacy you need. The house was perfect, just as described. We didn’t cook there, but in looking around, it appears you would have all you need for light cooking. The TV is a bit small, but is adequate for a little downtime in the evening if you have streaming accounts (which we do). The bed is comfortable, albeit fairly low to the ground. The house is clean and inviting with a pretty perennial garden lining the entry walk. It felt like coming home every time we returned. Being a little outside of the city proper, you can’t really walk anywhere, but everything you want to see or do, including grocery stores, are just a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Contemporary Guest House and might just stay there again ourselves!

The was the best of the dozens of short-term rentals I have had. The casita is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. Radiant heat in the floors, unlimited hot water, great lighting, including in the kitchen (unusual for a rental), high quality utensils, etc. Along with the other, usual factors, these things account for the first five stars. The other five are for the hosts, Gary and Bee. I became ill during my stay, and I found them among the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met, even though I was a complete stranger. They went out of their way to check up on me, offer and provide help, and adjust the booking on the fly when I was too weak to travel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved this little place for our 4 night stay. Safe neighborhood. Clean. Beautiful view. Perfect for 2 adults. Highly recommend!

The location of this property is just perfect. Near old Santa Fe as well as Museum Hill, getting anywhere I wanted to go was easy. The property is quiet, with nice views of the surrounding area. Gary and Bee respected my need to have some quiet time to write and get away from the rat race. Very responsive and helpful with everything. This was my second time staying at the property, and I hope to come back again before too long.

Good spot and close to things. Clean little place. Bed was a little rough on the old folks, more of a futon mattress. Rest of place was top notch.

We stayed several days at this guest house. Our stay was peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and was close to downtown Santa Fe and hiking trails.

Lovely, sunny guest house with many windows and great view. We especially liked the fact that it was within walking distance of the main square, Canon Road, and Museum Hill.

Beautiful private space, quiet but convenient to everything, wonderful host. We were visiting friends who live nearby and this worked perfectly for us. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House. Gary and Bee are welcoming hosts and the location was perfect for accessing Santa Fe and enjoying a quiet rest. Santa Fe is beautiful, the people are so friendly, great golf, food, margaritas and of course shopping. The city is so clean! Highly recommend a getaway to Santa Fe including the Guest House.

The property was perfect for my needs. The kitchen was well supplied, the linens and furnishings were clean and comfortable. The surroundings were comfortable, the views were terrific, Bee and Gary were responsive and helpful, always available, but at the same time, giving me my own space and privacy. The location is perfect for seeing old Santa Fe, including botanical gardens, museums, the plaza, coffee shops, arts and jewelry. Really ideal for my needs. I hope I have a chance to stay there again. I am grateful for hosts such as Bee and Gary.

Small casita that was fine for us. We used it as a place to sleep while visiting family.

Beautiful, cozy place and great views. Quiet and peaceful. Cleaning person cuts corners and overlooks some things. No lids for any of the pots or pans. But our stay was very much enjoyed.

The property and our hosts were amazing! It's a great location for proximity to all that Santa Fe has to offer. The Casita was clean and supplied everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was lovely as well. We would like to live in it permanently if we could.

I enjoyed my (almost) 2 week stay in comfort and quiet. Conveniently located and well maintained. Beautiful scenic views close to everything. Hosts were very helpful, check in and all communications were excellent.
