Vaulted 10-foot ceiling, lots of windows, on a hill looking over 10 acres and the river, fabulous view, master bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with queen, large living and dining room, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, 1 1/2 bathrooms, balcony, washer and dryer in unit. Sleeps 5 people in total comfort. Close to Eugene, Springfield, and I-5. On the McKenzie River for fishermen and boaters. On a bike-touring route. Peaceful country setting. Totally private. Secure off-street car andlocked bicycle parking.

Great for a weekend getaway, or a longer vacation. Perfect family venue if you are visiting relatives nearby or are here for a wedding in the area. It is a great place to entertain with a big kitchen, dining table for 10, lots of parking, and the deck, so party (responsibly ;-).

Dogs are welcome with a small additional cleaning fee.

The Guest House at McKenzie Orchards is on two levels: the downstairs entrance leads to the lower level with the Queen bedroom and half-bath; the main living level is upstairs with a kitchen and bar adjoining the great room dining and seating areas. You will need to climb stairs to get to the main living level.

The great room looks out through sliding French doors to a 200 square foot deck with a BBQ grill and connects via a small hall to the King bedroom and full bath/laundry.

Note on cancellation: Usually we're relaxed -- 14 days, but June in Eugene is crazy with University of Oregon graduation and track and field events, so our cancellation policy for June is firm -- 60-days.

We had a great stay at Tom's place! There was lots of space for our family to spread out, comfy beds, and a clean home. We loved being out in the country, yet still close enough to town to do all the things within a 15 minute drive! You can walk to the lovely river nearby or swing by and say hi to Tom & his sweet wife at their Bed & Breakfast on the property below! We loved visiting with them! We had such a fun getaway, we won't hesitate to stay here again in the future!

Property owner Tom was very welcoming and greeted us at the door upon arrival. Rooms were clean and spacious. Kitchen was full stocked. Lots of space in the main bathroom. Location was quiet and secluded but short drive to the University or into city limits. Highly recommend, will be my first option when going to Eugene. Thanks, Tom

We really loved this place. It’s in a beautiful location in a beautiful area. Perfect for our stay in Eugene. There is lots of space and the kitchen is very well appointed.Check in is as easy as it gets. Our flight into Portland arrived 12 hours late such that we didn’t get to the property until after midnight. We phoned the owner who made sure it was easy for us to get in. He also knew, but since we were getting in late, we wouldn’t have time to buy any food so he left food options for breakfast the next morning. The owner also told us to be careful and watch out for deer when coming in after dark. Indeed we saw three deer between the highway and the house. The owner is a great host!

I am looking forward to a return trip. This was perfect for my family. The view is gorgeous. Easy stroll down to the river. Very quiet and peaceful. My only regret is that I forgot my binoculars. This is a birders paradise. A red shouldered hawk visited every day. I heard 20 different species of birds just from the balcony.

The host was so wonderful, checking in with us each day. The property is beautiful and well kept. The pantry was stocked and there was plenty of coffee, spices, shampoo etc. The place looks just like the pictures. One small thing the downstairs bedroom had a bad oder...We were there to go to volleyball at Lane and it was nice to go back out to the county after the busy city...

Awesome property! Clean, well appointed and easy to get to. House was only fifteen minutes to Cuthbert Amphitheater. Our host Tom was very accomodating, and our little dog Piper had a wonderful time. Really cool 2br place.

Great location (quiet, safe, and beautiful) just outside of Eugene. Clean, comfortable, well appointed kitchen and great internet allowed us to use it as a homebase to tour the Eugene area. Tom could not have been kinder, even offering fresh tomatoes from his garden!

We had a wonderful week away from the city nestled in the trees but still close enofe to spend the day at the lake or ocean. Large kitchen and dining space to play board games. With relaxing views off the balcony and river access.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and clean. It had everything that we needed. The outside grounds were very open and green with a path down to the river. We had our dog with us which worked out well. The owner was very generous and friendly. We would return here again.

Tom and Karen are amazing hosts! Tom welcomed my family with a tour of his garden. He was accommodating and friendly. The property is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The view of the McKenzie River was so comforting (property has a deck). We had coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoons on that deck. We will be back! Thank you, Tom and Karen! You are awesome.
