We had a wonderful time at Valerie's place! My husband and I booked our trip for NYE only a few weeks in advance, and it was a perfect option for us and our dog. We didn't need anything else while staying there- Valerie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable after an 8+ hour drive. We would definitely stay here again!
The 2 of us and our 2 dogs both enjoyed the house and being able to walk our dogs on Valerie's property. Everything was clean and worked well. Cozy little house that made you feel at home.
Wow, just such a splendid property full of coziness and love. Staying in this property with my pups was so nourishing and connecting. It has the perfect little backyard for dogs, a cozy kitchen and an incredibly comfortable bed. Wonderful location with beautiful foliage. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to chat with Valerie upon arrival and departure and appreciate her hospitality, warmth and hosting. I will definitely be back!
The hosts were wonderful and so friendly! We visited the area and Biltmore Estate. It was an easy drive to Black Mountain, downtown Asheville and Biltmore as well. We loved the tranquil area-so peaceful! The fenced in yard was perfect for our pets! We will definitely visit again!
We had a great time here this past weekend. The cottage is nice and cozy and the fence was perfect for my dog! The host was so sweet and kind and communicated very well!! The house was equipped with everything we needed, and even some things I forgot to bring like coffee and water. Overall wonderful experience.
My wife and I recently had a wonderful experience staying at this cottage. From my initial inquiry about the rental property to after our departure, the owner (Valerie) was extremely responsive (within the hour). We were looking for a rental property that met the following criteria: detached unit; permitted pets; clean; quiet; reasonably priced; and was relatively close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. This unit exceeded our expectations. Having a kitchen; refrigerator; and small fenced backyard (for our dog) were much appreciated. The VRBO description and previous renter's reviews accurately describe this property. I give it my highest possible review and I look forward to staying in it again!
Comfy bed, clean, thoughtful accommodations. Lovely fenced yard. Priced great and owner is very kind. Surrounding land is beautiful too. Just a great getaway spot!
Had a fantastic stay. Valerie is a wonderful host. Property was clean and perfect for our dogs. Having the fence out back was a great addition to our vacation. Plenty of great hiking trails nearby.
We were in town for family but loved staying at this small quaint get away. Perfect size for us and our pups, would highly recommend. Owner is very kind, thoughtful and great to work with for sure.
We spent the Labor Day weekend at Valerie's place. It was a beautiful setting in the NC mountains, well set up for the 2 of us and our dog. Driving the local roads to and from all of our adventures was incredible, so much beauty. Everything was accurately described and we will definitely go back. Thanks to Valerie!!
This is one of the best VRBOs I've ever stayed at. It's not fancy but the host is absolutely wonderful, the place is clean, the beds are extremely comfortable (even the pull out couch), and there were even extra amenities for our dog. Hands down will absolutely stay here again.
This was such a cute house to stay at with our two fur babies! The host was helpful and checked in on us throughout our stay, and even gave our fur babies some special treats! Overall, was a great place to stay and close to different points of interest while being secluded as well! Will definitely return when we are back in the area!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this sweet little home! Very convenient to everywhere we needed to be. Valerie was sweet and very accommodating. We will stay again next time we’re back
Had everything we needed for our week stay. Great fenced yard for our dogs. Valerie is the best host and we enjoyed talking and walking the property with her!
We enjoyed our stay very much. Bery peaceful and quite.
Great place to stay near Asheville. Great amenities, however it rained during my stay so I wasn’t able to sit outside and enjoy the views and fire pit. I look forward to using the amenities on my next visit. Excellent communication by Valerie. Thanks for a great stay!
Quiet little hideaway for us to retreat to after exploring Asheville!
I absolutely loved my 3 night stay at this cozy property! The cabin is charming. Everything was so clean and well-stocked, Valerie, the owner was very nice and super accommodating. Would definitely stay again!
This quaint cottage is just a little out of town and is on a beautiful mountain road. It was clean and tidy, and Valerie was very thoughtful and helpful.
Very clean ! She definitely went out of her way to make sure we had a great time on vacation. Would definitely stay here again !
Great little in-law suite that is very well equipped. Valerie is a great communicator and makes sure you have everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended!
Only ~22 minutes to Asheville or Black Mountain so perfect for visiting either one (or both)! Host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and prepared for any bad weather. It was a peaceful place to unwind and get away from it all.
We had a wonderful time at this little getaway! Valerie was so hospitable and welcoming. The place is super cute and comfortable with a great fenced in yard out little Yorkie enjoyed immensely. We’ll definitely be back.
The property came as advertised and was clean and tidy. Valerie was available when needed and checked in on us. The property is a bit out of the way, but very quiet. All in all I enjoyed it!
Val and this property is just perfection for your ASV stay! Beautiful and just remote enough!
Valerie is the best and the cabin was fine. Not luxurious but a very comfortable stay. Worked great for our toy poodle
