Charming Downtown Fairhope Cottage – Walk to Everything!

Loved the perfect location! Could not have been a better spot for Fairhope. It is a very lovely cottage, it had everything we needed for the stay. My only complaints would be that there is insufficient coverings over the windows so the sunshine is very bright and will wake you. The AC unit is also very loud and sounds like it needs to be serviced. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will rent this cottage again in the future.

Great location for exploring Fairhope. Walk everywhere downtown and to the Bay shore. Cottage has all amenities necessary for a nice stay. Comfy bed!

Though it was a little hard to find in the dark it was such a joy once we found it. It’s tucked away on a quiet street in beautiful downtown Fairhope. Such a sweet little cottage with so much to offer. Neatly decorated and nicely stocked with essentials. Very clean and in great condition. My daughter ended up joining me and there was plenty of room. The bed was incredibly comfy and the AC was nice and cool. Full kitchen and washer dryer as well. I loved the fluffy bathrobe! This is such an adorable little gem in a beautiful town with a lot to offer. I’d love to stay again sometime.

The room was clean but the area rugs were a problem with my husband walker. The internet was really bad and think this could be better. Sorry but I wouldn’t stay again.

Everything was perfect for us. Location, amenities, cleanliness…it had everything we needed and was just what we needed for our quick “girls trip” to Fairhope. Definitely hit up the doughnut shop next door before your last day like we did. Amazing! We would love to go back.

It was perfect! Location was great! We enjoyed our stay! Clean room, comfy bed, Keurig coffee maker with coffee, creamer, and sugar/sweetener available! Walk to everything!

Fantastic place. We loved the location. Once you park, no need to use the car again. Everything within a short walk. Clean. We will be back.

We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s absolutely perfect for two people. Park here, and you don’t need to get back into your vehicle until checkout time.

There were 3 of us older women that stayed at this cottage just to shop and dine in this little town instead of following our husbands on another one of their golf trips. What a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, comfortable, and well equipped cottage , smack in the middle of downtown. Perfect and safe. We highly recommend this listing.

The location was excellent and convenient for our stay. WiFi was not working when we arrived on a Friday. Emailed the host and they immediately provided new updated login info as they had recently made some changes. On Sunday we awoke to no WiFi again. We were leaving early, so the inconvenience was minimal. Overall, great stay, location, and host!

Would add a handicap bar in shower and change commode to the higher height. Thanks. Everything else we enjoyed and will be back

Enjoyed being downtown and ability to walk to most of our favorite places. Was a little disappointed the private patio was not there due to construction next door.

The Cottage was as advertsied. Right in the heart of Downtown Fairhope which is a beautiful well maintained small town. Would stay here again for sure.

Perfect for seeing Fairhope without a car. It’s in the middle of the shops and restaurants. (Which also made it a little lively until things settled, at 11 on Friday night). I could walk to the market (small grocery store) and pier. The beds are excellent and the kitchen and bath are cute and clean but there are some less than sparkly areas and I wouldn’t want to have to count on the futon. I never heard from the owners but the checkin was completely automated and I loved it.

There are a lot of positive things about this cottage; such as the location, the parking, the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds. However, there is one aspect which will forever scar this rental until it is eliminated, Roku TV. It would be nice if the rental manager would provide the secret code to make the thing work. ( I wrote the manager asking for help, but didn't receive a response.) The rental company could even place a disclaimer in the description for people to see before they decide to rent. It could read THIS PROPETY HAS ROKU TV. So, other than the above little rant, the place is great.

This place was in an awesome location right in the heart of downtown. The keurig & coffee pods were a nice touch. Cottage was not clean. Floors made our socks filthy. Kitchen sink was clogged & wouldn’t drain, couch smelled like dogs, shower had long hairs on the walls & very low pressure. Parking was super convenient UNTIL we checked out the morning of the arts & craft fair. The streets were lined with vendors & we were told we could not move our vehicle til 6pm. (We had just checked out @ 10:30am) We weren’t informed about the festival, nor were we told to get our car moved prior to it. We called the owners & explained our predicament & were told she’d check with her husband & call us right back. Never called back. The police threatened to put us in jail if we tried to move our car. We called the mayor’s office & they couldn’t get the police to help. We took our chances, moved a couple trash barrels, put our flashers on & slowly made our way to an alley & escaped. I understand the vehicles/pedestrians dangers, but we were 6 hrs from home with no where to stay all day & plans to be in NOLA mid afternoon. Kudos to the police for keeping a safe gathering, but shame on them for their unwillingness to help out some distraught out of town visitors.

This quaint studio home if perfect for you and your spouse or a small family. You are in the heart of downtown. This is mine and my husband 2nd time here and we love Fairhope. We can’t wait until we come back.

This was the perfect stay located in the heart of Fairhope. The property was clean and was perfect for a place to rest while we were shopping. I loved the addition of the bunk beds as it was more functional for our group. We will definitely be booking again!!

The place looks cute and quaint on the outside but the inside was filthy and dated. The owner, however, was very nice.

My wife and stayed here for a long weekend. Wonderful place right in the middle of everything. Close enough to walk everywhere. There is enough room for several people to stay with a queen bed, two bunk beds, and a pull out couch. There is only one bathroom so it may may be small for to many in a group but it was perfect for my wife and I . The description says it is between Mr. Gene's Beans and Dragonfly. However, Dragon is now Cafe Viola.
