Winslow, Arkansas
Bigfoot Hideout is located in the heart of the Boston Mountains off Historic Highway 71. We are a nature-friendly and family-oriented Guesthouse and welcome guests in our laid-back common areas. Our unique traveling interaction is part of the experience as we treat our guests as friends and family.
Enjoy our Almasty a one-bedroom suite with a separate entrance, 1 queen bed in the bedroom, a full-size futon bed in the living room, a full kitchen, dining space, and a private bathroom in the bedroom. This room would be great for up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
The “Coffee Shop” lounge is where you meet others. We often offer Family-Style Dinners, and invite guests to join us for morning coffee and some freshly made bread. When the weather and fire restrictions allow, join us by the fire, next to the old “Into the wild” bus. Pull up a chair, we would love to hear your story as we make yummy S`moers.
Bigfoot Hideout is Not a “Roadside” Motel, and is a Smoke-free property. As an Outdoors Guesthouse, we respect people's need for rest and relaxation, either before a big hike or just as part of their getaway, so we have implemented quiet hours from 10pm to 9am.
Explore our six acres of woods, hike down the trail to the seasonal creek, and enjoy a beautiful sunset from the picnic area. Early bird guests welcome to join our pets, Pine (Husky) & Hockey (Ragdoll) for a stunning Sunrise from our upper balcony. Looking for more to do Ask Sha about outdoor activities and he will point you in the right direction.
If not working the tractor outside, you will find us in the “Coffee Shop” area that offers working space, board games, books, and all the extras you need for a meaningful stay. When open, we serve great coffee and homemade treats, we don't charge extras, so don't be shy and stop by.
From the owner, “Traveling around the world shaped the way I host. Bigfoot Hideout is not about where you sleep, it is about the people you meet and the traveling experience you share.”
