Beautiful Carriage House / Your Own Private Space

Such a cute little place to stay. Owners were very prompt with responding. Perfect home away from home. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely go stay here again

Bob and Kim greeted us upon arrival and were very welcoming. The property was beautiful and our pup enjoyed exploring. Perfectly appointed, the cottage was the perfect respite for a few days. No detail was overlooked when this rental was furnished. From fluffy towels to a fully stocked kitchen, these owners thought of everything!

This was the best property we've stayed at, and we utilized VRBO for most of our travels because we travel with pets. Beautifully decorated carriage house on lovely grounds with every amenity thoughtfully detailed. We often stay at places with odd and end kitchen supplies and random furnishings, but this was like staying in your own home. Hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again if in the area and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Kim and Bob were extremely accommodating when I needed a short-term rental while awaiting a furnace replacement in the dead of winter. They are good neighbors, literally, as our house is just 6 miles away. My dog and I had a comfortable and cozy stay in the carriage house and enjoyed exploring the lovely grounds. The location is ideal for anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful place with easy access to Ann Arbor. I highly recommend the carriage house, and Kim and Bob as hosts.

Our stay at this lovely property was such a welcomed respite after very long work days

This beautiful apartment in a country setting was just what we needed to relax. We enjoyed the thought out details throughout the space as well as having a shaded & grassy yard to take walks or sit in the chairs available on the drive. A county meadow park is just a few minutes away offering another place for a quiet walk. We highly recommend.

This was a perfect area for us close to friends and relatives. The property was private and very quiet. Nicely decorated and very clean. They have everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. has a washer and dryer also.The bed was excellent. Only drawback is the stairs not for toddlers or those with disabilities. Would definitely stay here on our next visit!

Bob and Kim are super sweet and friendly. The property is a perfect location, the landscape is beautiful and wooded set off behind trees but you can still hear the highway. The rental is right across the driveway from the hosts home. They have a little fenced in area for your dog to play in. They do mention in the listing that there's a bonus space and a queen aired. I double checked with the host prior to arriving on these. You must let them know if you need the extra room and they didn't have a queen air mattress but they offered a twin. We just brought our own. They had several amenities and the space was just adorable. Several nature preserves close by. They provided fresh towels, a keurig with several coffee choices, tea, and condiments among other things. I will say be warned the water has a high amount of sulfur so when you shower all you can smell is rotten eggs. The host did provide fresh drinking water in the fridge though! All in all a great stay!

This is a very well-appointed little apartment on a lovely property. There is a full kitchen with quality appliances, good mattress, etc. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

5 out of 5 stars! This was my very first VRBO stay and it couldn't have been any better! Mr. Bob and Mrs. Kimberly were very welcoming, hospitable, kind, and considerate. They felt more like friends than our hosts. The property had everything we needed for a short stay. It was cozy, clean, extremely well equipped, and easy to access. This will be the only Vrbo that I will use when I make my frequent trips to Michigan to visit family.

We stayed here for 10 days in December and we loved it. It was very cozy and comfortable and nestled in a lovely wooded area, yet very close to Plymouth. Our hosts, Mark and Kim, could not have been nicer to us and really wanted to make sure that we were fine and had everything we needed.

Cottage was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Bob and Kimberly!

We had such a great football weekend! Hosts were so kind and welcoming sharing great restaurants and places to pick up groceries. They stocked coffee and other essentials that we truly appreciated after a long day of travel. Comfy bed was great.

We stayed four nights in this perfect guesthouse located on the owners' property. They have a beautiful yard with a pond, sitting area, gazebo, and plenty of parking. We even saw a mama and baby deer roaming the property during the week. Bob and Kimberly were the perfect hosts, and communication with them was great! We will definitely book again if we are in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

The carriage house was incredibly comfortable and convenient. The driveway would have been tricky but Bob and Kim had sent a very detailed email about how to find them that made it easy. The kitchen also had the right selection of seasonings and tools to make cooking simple. Location was close to stores and restaurants but far enough away to make it feel like we were at a secluded little getaway. We really enjoyed it.

Close and convenient to University of Michigan . Perfect for what we needed! Can’t wait to stay again.
