Fantastic location. Beautifully furnishings and excellent appliances. Wonderful relaxing stay.

Quality linens, appliances, furnishings and toiletries were expected and didn’t disappoint, but the extra touches like wine and sparkling water in the fridge and chocolates on the table that really made it special.

It was the perfect getaway. The hosts had provided absolutely everything, and the place was so clean. It had a beautiful view on the deck, and we couldn’t fault anything about the property. Would definitely stay here again and refer to friends/family.

So clean , convenient and relaxing place to stay in prime location, walking distance to everything. Was originally worried about parking but had no issues as has large amount of street parking, pretty much guaranteed one out the front every time. Thank you for all the little extras provided and letting us stay in your beautiful place.

Great location and flat. Everything you need is only a short walk away. We parked the car on arrival and didn't need to get back into it until we left. Will definitely be staying again.

The apartment is exquisite. Classy, clean, comfortable. Most importantly the bed is perfect! Location is amazing! 100m to beach. Walk to great coffee! Running tracks along the coast! Ocean baths! Beach coffee! Lovely neighbourhood. What more could you want. Host was lovely and attentive.

We cannot speak too highly about this property. Janet’s thoughtful touches (milk in the fridge, chocolates, biscuits, generous bottles of quality shampoo & conditioner and other supplies) made this an exceptional stay. The apartment is lovely and, whilst there is a skylight in the bedroom it made the bedroom light and airy and Janet supplied lovely eye masks which worked a treat. We both slept exceptionally welll. Highly recommended and we would love to return!

I had an amazing stay at this lovely apartment in Bar Beach! The location was perfect—just a short walk from the beach, with stunning ocean views. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.Janet was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.I especially loved the cozy balcony where I could sip my morning coffee while enjoying the sea breeze. It was such a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.I can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit to Bar Beach. My husband and I had a great stay at Bar Beach. The property was lovely and so close to the beach. The host Janet was very generous and easy to communicate with, we enjoyed an early check in and late checkout. We parked our car and did not move it the whole weekend, we walked everywhere including to Parkrun! Thank you Janet for a wonderful two night stay.

This was an ideal base for us to stay while visiting family and friends in Newcastle with easy access to the wonderful beaches. Janet went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable and the apartment/suite was surprisingly quiet. We would be very happy to return.

This location is fantastic for the city, a beach place and handy for walks/run. It was a brisk walk to the city centre. Washing machine is a great addition and CB plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast or dinner. Would def return.
